Went to this location on March 10th at around 11:30am to get an 8 piece nugget and frys. Obviously this location is always busy so it is to be expected! I have not been to this restaurant since December 2019 so things are different as they are everywhere and I was looking for signs to see what lanes where what but it was just too congested with cars and signs way too small and not enough of them.
I pull around and it appeared to be 2 lanes to wait in for ordering food in drive threw. I didn't think that there would be any issues really as I'm sitting in line. I saw people driving AROUND OTHER CARS to either CUT PEOPLE OFF IN LINE or CARS WERE DRIVING AROUND A NON LANE TO TRY AND FIND A PARKING SPOT so they could stand in a line outside for curbside pickup. I had no idea I was able to do curbside pickup because I didn't see any signs and by the time I did I was already by the doors. I also didn't see any signs to indicate that there was parking nor any open parking spots anywhere for this restaurant and it was only 1 way in lol so these cars that cut pp off or maybe found a spot I have no idea it was confusing.
From the time I got in line I was approx 100 yards away from DSW. It took us approx 40min to get from there to the person we ordered from. I think possibly they could have been short staffed because only 2 maybe 3 employees tops I saw outside taking orders for driver threw. They were SO KIND and VERY HELPFUL because I didn't realize as I was pulling up closer that they took down the ordering menu in drive threw. Ordered my son the 2 items. Pulled up to pay via credit card which was very simple and fast.
We then pull around and lol.... here is where people in cars waiting to get their food I suppose they are getting anxious and nasty by that point. There was only 1 lane and 3 very nice employees working their butts off to get each vehicle its food as fast as they could! I get my food first even though there are cars in front and in back of me because I only ordered 2 small items. I say thank you and look in back of me and the car in back of me was about 8 feet away. I put my suburban in reverse and inch my way backwards and in front of me there was a large suburban. I was blocked basically which was truly no big deal for me because I was only trying to see if I could inch my way out.
Well, the person in back of me laid of her horn like a satanic psycho and appeared to be LOOSING their MIND. I'm NOT EVEN THAT CLOSE TO the car in back of me!! I stop and roll down my window to see how much room I had, I had plenty! I could have pulled out esp because they didn't have cones blocking for another lane. Thank GOD one for the employees saw the person in back of me loosing it over the fact I got my food before anyone else and that I was trying to leave. The employee had the vehicle in front of me move up so I could pull out and on my way we went.
I say all of this because I think its really important to maybe implement a few changes to make it easier for employees and for the people getting food, as well as bring more people to this location and still be able to operate effectively.
Obviously, peek hrs will always be busy but small things like making sure there is signage that is larger, people can see and read from far away so people know where to park for pick up or what ones are lanes and what lane is the one for DRIVING only to park somewhere.
Maybe put other signs that state "from this point about 30min wait" and put a scripture or something about patience or just something funny under the time frame for waiting to entertain people. Put those signs leading all the way to the BACK OF THE parking out for the people to see ok from here I may be waiting 45min or 60min.
There really needs to be 1 lane to the right and 1 lane to the left for exit in case someone NEEDS TO GET OUT OF THE LINE. I could not get out to turn around or exit either side due to lay out.
I think it would help alot if there was at least 2 lanes for food pick up HOWEVER 1 lane would be closest to window...
Read moreChick-Fil-A always provides me with an overall great experience every single time, providing great food, no issues, and consistency across all locations. I mainly find myself visiting the Oxford Valley Chick-Fil-A due to where I live. I am an avid fast food eater and after about 10 years of eating out, It is the best option for a quick, affordable breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Overall every Chick- Fil-A I have eaten at has been extremely consistent, from the portions of fries, the size of chicken nuggets, or the chicken breast on a sandwich it generally is as similar as it gets besides the outliers of course. Chick-Fil-A is a very unique restaurant and is hard to miss.Chick-Fil-A has great prices, along with the quality provided is unmatched. I myself typically find myself ordering the number 1 large deluxe meal. This meal will typically cost you $8, it will provide a large drink of your choice, myself I get the tasty Sweet Tea along with FREE REFILLS. You will also receive a large box of Waffle fries, and a juicy chicken sandwich that will come with a piece of melted cheese, lettuce, as well as juicy slices of tomato, and crunchy pickles. The waffle fries will be medium to large sized fries that overflow the box they come in, they are perfectly salted and crispy, with the occasional softer piece of waffle fry that some people may like. Chick-Fil-A has a variety of chicken options, the breast sized piece that comes on a sandwich, the thick and breaded tenders, or the tender, juicy nuggets. Chick-Fil-A also provides an amazing genre of food that many people enjoy including myself. A healthier option could be the crispy chicken salad, or a warm comforting soup, maybe on a cheat day you might want to try out the newly added macaroni and cheese, or great desserts such as an oreo milkshake or a homemade warm oatmeal chocolate chip cookie. Chick-Fil-A also provides an extensive assortment of sauces that I have only seen at their restaurant. Chick-Fil-A sauce is the most popular, It is a mix between a honey mustard and a honey bbq and It is a perfect sauce for waffle fries and chicken. A few other honorable mentions would be their polynesian sauce which is a sticky, sweet sauce, and also a zesty buffalo sauce. Another topic I wanted to mention is Chick-Fil-A and their ability to improve and adapt, they have been implementing a new system to create even faster drive thru lines than before. Chick-Fil-A will now typically have a worker outside with an Ipad in each lane taking orders before the windows so that people do not have to talk into a speaker to make orders, but instead tell an employee who comes to your car and proceed much faster. Tracy Thommen, a fellow reviewer I found, also agreed with me on Chick-Fil-A and their speeds compared to other competitors such as Mcdonalds. Wendy’s, Mcdonald’s, or Burger King due to many reasons such as quality, and quantity of the food, the price of the food choices, and lastly the experience in the restaurant itself are far below what Chick-Fil-A provides for me. They will always provide the same great food, and same great employees no matter what location you are at. From my experience at a place such as Wendy's in Levittown, the service from the young cashier was pretty terrible, the employees visible seem amatuer and as if they hate their job, and wait times can be very long for no reason at all even with no lines. Things such as speed and employees are the main factors, Chick-Fil-A excels in everything from wait times, to the environment and experience they bring to customers. I have been to numerous other fast food chains many times over the years and overall Chick-fil-A employees genuinely seem like they are having a good day, they care, and they will actually help you with anything you need. When you enter a Chick-Fil-A it makes you feel like you are in a comfortable place to hangout and eat with a booming environment. Chick- Fil-A will never fail to meet your expectations whether it’s the food, the employees, or the...
Read moreWent to this Chick-fil-A the other day to grab food for some of my co-workers and myself. They were extremely busy. There were at least 30 cars in the drive through line. I went inside to place my order. The woman in front of me in line had ordered a gallon of ice tea and requested lemons with it. The young man who was helping her gave her a container with at least two lemons worth of wedges. Apparently this was not enough lemons and she became over the top irate. When the young man said he could grab her more she continued to harass him and demand a manger. I work in retail/customer service myself so I know all too well the frustration that comes with customers who are just looking for something to be mad at. I have to tip my cap to this associate. He kept his cool and continued to be polite until the woman stormed out. I had a pretty long order myself but they got everything right and the food was ready in just a couple minutes and I was on my way. The staff that helped me were very polite and the food was delicious. Thank you guys and keep up the good work and don't let people like her bother you! Also congrats to...
