My family and I have been FREQUENT patrons of BDubs, as my son likes to call it, since it opened this location. My teenage son and his friends are usually there once a week for one of the wing specials. Usually our experience is a good one, but last night was one of the worst ones that I've had there. I ordered on-line for pick-up and was given a time to arrive, but we had to wait an additional 10 minutes for the order to be ready. After driving home, I opened our bag to find sauce, that I didn't order on the side, completely spilled out of a container all over the other containers and bags of carrots. Also, my order was missing 24 wings. When I called to inform someone of what had happened, I was placed on hold for 5 minutes, then spoke to someone to explain the situation, and then placed on hold again. Someone else came on the phone and I had to reiterate my problem, which was unacceptable. I was placed on hold once again. That person came back on the phone, repeated my original order to me, asked what I was missing, and then told me to give them 20 minutes and to return to pick up my missing wings. Upon arriving, a hostess looked at me like a deer in headlights when I gave her my name for my pick up order. She told me to wait there as she went to get her manager. Someone else came out and asked me for the third time what had happened. I then had to look up my online order and explain what I ordered and what I was missing. He wrote my order again and told me that they would drop more wings for me. So I asked why I was told to return in 20 minutes if now I was going to wait for the wings to even be made. His response was that the person I spoke to was confused as to what I was missing in my order. So I again asked why was I told to return any my order would be READY for pick-up. No response again, just a statement that he would go put the order in. This process has now gone on for over and hour and a half and after the inconvenience of driving to the restaurant twice, explaining the situation three times, and waiting for food a second time, I NEVER received an apology for any of it!! That is truly UNACCEPTABLE. This is not even close to being good customer service. I have managed an office dealing with the public for over 20 years and I don't always agree with the customer is always right, but I act like I do. Especially when I have to deal with a mistake that my staff has made. I apologize and ask what I can do to make it right. A simple "I'm Sorry" goes a long way!! Knowing that I was irate at this point, the coward manager sends out the poor hostess with my order so he didn't have to deal with me. I know that trick!! And don't even attempt to tell me that it was so busy that there was too much going on that my order could not be completed correctly, because there was only 6 people sitting at the bar and only 1 table seated when...
Read moreOver the Martin Luther King holiday my friend chose Buffalo Wild Wings as the place for us to meet for lunch. I had never been to one before and probably not a place I would normally consider going to. Located off a main road with several shopping areas nearby, we arrived around 12:30. It was relatively empty when we first entered and we were promptly seated in a booth. Prices are reasonable and they do have lunch specials. I opted for the Buffalo Cauliflower with garlic parmesan while my friends got the wing lunch special, which comes with fries. The food arrived quickly. While my one friend had asked that her wing sauces be split on her order, they weren't. But she was told when the order was brought out, since it was their error she got another order of wings with the second sauce at no cost. I noticed the amount of fries on the lunch special wasn't more than two mouthfuls. While our server was actually really great, I had to give them 4 stars for bringing out the check without asking if anyone wanted dessert. I'm not sure if this was because everyone didn't finish their food or they wanted to clear the table. But just because people don't eat all their food doesn't mean they don't want dessert. I had the New York cheesecake. This tasted exactly as I would have expected, but I could have done without the caramel drizzle. I didn't see that noted in the description or I would have asked not to have it. My friends got the loaded ice cream. It was a smaller scoop of ice cream with ice cream toppings and what looks like large cinnaman toast crunch chips. The place did get much busier while we were there. I did notice moms or dads bringing their children there. Aside from the prices, I don't think this is a place I would bring my children if it were just me and them. Definitely a sports bar atmosphere and the sound level on the televisions makes it hard to have a conversation. Children grow up fast. Don't miss an opportunity to interact with them. Also, and this has nothing to do with Buffalo Wild Wings, egg prices are so high because we're told there is not enough of egg producing chickens due to the avian flu. That being the case, why are all these...
Read moreUpdating review: I'm hoping this isn't a representation of their service recently since it's been a while since we've been there. We ordered online, and remembered to ask for the wings extra wet. The wings still came very dry (as in, too dry for regular, and we asked for extra wet)(picture), but that wasn't the most frustrating part of the order. Attached is a photo of the $4 slaw. It was on its side in the bag, pushing the meager amount to one corner accentuating how little they put in there. Also I asked for a side of the lemon pepper sauce and they gave me the seasoning, but this order is from the middle of a weekend rush, so that falls under 'completely understandable', unlike the other two things which really disappointed me.
Original review: Great wings, great service. The servers are all super friendly and the vaulted ceilings with walls covered in projector screens and gigantic TVs make this one of our favorite BWW atmospheres. My only complaint is that the past half dozen Tuesdays I've been there for the boneless wing special, they always come out between a little dry and barely sauced. They don't mind giving you a little extra to dip if you ask, and you can always request "extra wet" (which I always mean to do and forget), but the regular saucing level should not result in at least one wing having literally almost no sauce on it at all.
That aside, we usually get the regular wings and they sauce those fine, and having so many options (multiple sauces, doneness level, flats or drums) always come out perfectly is an impressive balancing act. At the end of the day, this is one of our favorite BWW and of course we'll be back again and again for the friendly staff and great wings, and hopefully one day I'll remember to ask for the boneless...
