2 BIG DOLLY THUMBS DOWN 🤧 our meal was so bad it actually became funny. We stopped by about a month ago, my wife tried to tortellini Alfredo and I had the poutine. My wife said that it was possibly one of the worst things she had ever eaten in her life. The chicken tasted like it was boiled then wrung completely dry, the Alfredo was some mystery substance unknown to modern science, and the noodles were completely disgusting to the point of being inedible. The poutine was essentially a deep dish of pig slop. Our server was very nice, but when she brought us our food she had a look on her face that said “I’m deeply sorry for what you’re about to subject yourself to.”

My wife was near to tears with frustration because she had remembered loving it here in the past, but I couldn’t help but laugh the entire time. I’m raising the review to 2 stars just for the entertainment factor of being presented a plate of chunky diarrhea at a Dolly Parton themed gas station food chain. It honestly became one of my favorite memories from our trip! Come here for a good laugh, but have a plan for dinner once...

Review 1: Tortellini with Alfredo Sauce & Chicken ⭐️ 1 out of 5 Honestly, this was a huge letdown. I ordered the tortellini with Alfredo and chicken, and it came out cold — not even lukewarm. The Alfredo sauce had a weird, almost sweet or off taste — definitely not your classic creamy, cheesy flavor. The chicken was dry and clearly just thrown on top without any effort. For the price, I expected way better. Felt like a microwave meal from the grocery store, and even those might taste better. Review 2: Nachos Plate ⭐️ 1 out of 5 This was supposed to be nachos for $16.99 and it was just a pile of dry chips with barely any meat or cheese. No real flavor, no proper layering, and the cheese looked like it was just smeared on a few chips with no care. They tossed in two random slices of toast like they were trying to fill the plate. For almost $17, this was a joke. Complete ripoff. Overall Experience I paid $38 for two dishes and left completely disappointed. Cold food, poor quality, and definitely not worth the price. Would not recommend this place unless you’re okay with paying a lot for...

They need more help, more room, little bit bigger portions for breakfast foods, and other then that it's not a bad place to eat at. The food is pretty good. It gets crammed in there pretty easy. If you have handicapped individuals it's not very roomy for that. It's accessible just not very roomie for it. I noticed a few walkers just blocking other tables. Not on purpose just not enough room. Place was packed and the 2 waitresses and 1 cook were kicking butt. All things considered. For the price you pay for the food it's not horrible but they could go a little bigger on the portions. They should offer the hungry menu that offers portions larger then what they typically serve. Lol!! If they had a breakfast food challenge I'd want to try it!!! This place I think really could have great potential. It takes me the French toast and biscuits and gravey before I feel a touch of full from here. I usually leave here and need to get a cheap burger to top off. Can't afford 30 bucks for a teaser of food and keep feeling good about wanting to keep...

OMG! My wife had the grilled pork chops and she said they were really good. I just had the Ribeye Whiskey Steak, and it was THE BEST STEAK EVER! I've traveled all over the world as an Aviator, to include Colombia and Guatemala, and I not only grew up near a cattle ranch but first learned real grilling at a steak house, so I know a little bit about steaks. I've eaten steaks everywhere, and after retiring from the airlines I drive my own rig across the USA. What a surprise to find Dolly Down, with terrific food and very polite, fast service! We have to come back here again! And for you other truckers, it's at the Fargo Petro with 190 parking spots. Great place for a 34!

Great location for a quick bite to eat. I was in town for work and had about 45 minutes to eat and get back to the hotel. I was able to order, eat and have a good conversation in about 40 minutes. I was treated to a wonderful Elk burger. I was also impressed to see they also had bison burgers on the menu. The resturant is located within a truck stop rest area. Very nice stop for any logistics professionals, anyone staying at a local hotel, or passing by the location!
