Congratulations! This Wendy's has officially delivered the worst service I've ever experienced! It took 45 minutes just to make it to the window to get our order. I didn't sweat it, I know times are tough and many places are understaffed, no biggie. The trouble started when the drink was handed out the window. It was a size smaller than we'd ordered. The window worker said they were out of the bigger cups, ok no problem, it can happen to anyone, but were we still charged for the larger size? No answer from the window worker, and no receipt to check, either. When we checked the bag to see if there were separate containers of cheese for our single order of chili, we found no cheese, and when we asked the window worker for more cheese, she declared that she wasn't the one who bagged our order. Okay....? Can I have my cheese or not? After another 5 minute wait, a different, very frustrated person comes to the window to hand the cheese out. Thanks, I guess... Things were fine until we got home. I went to pick up the containers of cheese only for them to spill all over my car because the lids weren't on all the way. Very frustrating, but not the end of the world, it would be more effort to get back to Wendy's and sit for another hour just to get some mini cups of cheese, so I figured I'd just give up and eat some plain chili. I get inside and set the chili down on the counter only to realize that the lid wasn't on the chili either, and it had spilled everywhere inside the bag, and now all over my counter. So no dinner for me, thanks to this ridiculous mess and lack of basic decency. Read moreFirst I need to say I love Wendys food. Then we decided to eat at this particular Wendy's. Also the world of fast food has changed. While we waited to order it became apparent that the person taking orders was maxed out. Dividing orders for drive up, door dash, done in while seeing the orders filled....But I had to repeat our order several times. A single hamburger with lettuce onion tomato pickles and mayonnaise. A baked potato with two sour creams. A small bowl of chili. A small and a large chocolate frosty. The burger came. The potato didn't have any sour cream just dry chives. The bowl of chili was ice cold. I had to ask for crackers. While we waited I attempted to use the restroom. I thought someone was in both. Went back to a long wait time. Got the food and sat down. I couldn't choke down the cold chili . And I love their chili. Husband went back to stand in line for sour cream. He said his food was good. I went back to the restroom....locked. It became apparent by now that they went locked as in not useable. It had been a year since I had eaten at this site. It's the one my good friend and I lunch at often. But I believe their needs to be a better procedure to filling orders. They need help. Or a security guard so the toilets can be used. We were there at 1230pm. The chili should have been hot. Read moreI used to love Wendy's, it used to be my favorite place to go for fast food. Unfortunately, we dont seem to have a good Wendy's in the FM area anymore. This location the past 6 times that I have been there has always made my order wrong. Things missing off of the sandwiches that should be on there per their own descriptions of what's on the sandwiches(even after I asked if they have said items.) Then there's many times that the complete wrong sandwiches are being given to me in the first place. The salads have gotten ridiculously overpriced for the fact that you only get half of the container worth of product(that's lettuce with the toppings only filling half of the container) So you're essentially getting a side salad if you are lucky for 10+ bucks. Which makes it very frustrating when you take it to go and don't find out until you are all the way to your destination and open it up to eat it. There's always slow lines, even if there is only a couple cars and you're lucky if someone actually helps you at the drive thru in the first place. It is very disappointing to see one of my favorite restaurants go so far down hill these days. Unfortunately, I seem to have the same issues at the other location along 45th as well, so I'm guessing it is a company wide problem...
