The weekend experience my partner and I had was by far the worst and weirdest hotel experience. There's a lot, so strap in. The building itself is not being taken care of, things are outdated, old and rusty so just a dirty vibe overall. The state of our room was shocking. there was pieces of hair stuck to the blankets, and A WHOLE CLUMP which we did not notice until getting into bed. This leads me to believe there is no way the sheets were washed properly if this much hair was in there. GROSS. There was no way we were going to sleep in this so I had to get a comforter from my car. (thank god I had one) The condition of the bathroom was disgusting. I attached photos of the mold all over the shower curtain and a mysterious stain looking like blood at the top of the curtain. The worst part about the bathroom, the shower literally DID NOT WORK. The lever to turn on the shower was completely broken, and when calling the front desk to tell him, he said "no problem, thanks for letting us know." YES problem actually, I deserve a working shower for the $70 a night rate. The costumer service is alarming. My room key stopped working two different times over the weekend and had to get a worker to let us in. Very weird, they did apologize the second time this happened. Check out was honestly invasive and it was like we were being rushed out of there. I completed the online check out in the morning stating we were leaving at 11am (check out time). Yet, we received a call to the room with the worker asking if we were leaving at 11. Kind of weird in my opinion because I have never had a worker call my room like that. Also, at 10:20am, my partner and I were trying to enjoy coffee in bed before leaving when a housekeeper walked into our room. I had to say "hello!? we are still here!" SO awkward, unprofessional, and invasive. There was still 40 minutes until checkout at that point and I communicated with the hotel 2 times stating we were in fact leaving at 11. So, overall, very rude, unprofessional and invasive treatment at the end of our stay. This experience was worth about $30 a night as I seriously felt like I was in a run down motel. Instead, I paid $250 for three nights and it feels like a rip off. The state of the hotel and room needs to be MUCH better for this price, seriously. And, obviously, will never be returning here although it makes for an...
Read moreIf I could rate this less than a one star I would. I don’t even know where to begin with this review. ||When we checked in, we went to our room, basic doesn’t cover it. The room smelled like stale cigarette smoke, there were the oldest sheets I had ever seen on the beds and the top comforters were stained. We checked for bugs and there weren’t any that we could see but the mattresses were disgustingly stained. The room itself looked clean enough and there weren’t any other rooms available with two beds for other hotels we called so we opted to stay… what a mistake. We went out for the day and came back, the whole hallway smelled like weed. Later that evening, the noise started. Both sides of the room, yelling, screaming, laughing and banging off and on. When we went out to the vehicle to get something, there were people waiting at the door in the lobby and they started cursing when we went outside. Then a vehicle pulled up and the woman started to come out and then suddenly the vehicle took off and the woman started swearing and went running along side of the hotel. The car turned the corner and stopped and she ran to the car window. We went back inside and while walking down the hallway the woman was trying to get in the side door. When she saw us she started swearing again and took off. All night the noise would start and stop periodically. Unfortunately we had a second night there and it went along the same lines noise wise. The thing that took the cake was the next morning. We went out to start putting our things in the car and when we came out, we saw a smashed up vehicle in the parking lot near our vehicle and observed someone unconscious in the vehicle draped over the steering wheel at an awkward angle. We went in and told the girl at the desk to call 911. She didn’t. We waited 15 minutes and no police had come so we called 911 and asked if there had been a call already put in for this location and they said no. Within 5 minutes the police arrived and the girl was so out of it at the wheel when they woke her up, they arrested her. By the time we were leaving, there were three police cars there to deal with the situation. Just an unbelievable experience. The police said when we talked to them to stay away from any hotel in the near vicinity...
Read moreCockroches in room, mold around air conditioning unit, manager was so condensing about all the issues he said they never happened ( I showed him the pictures) he said you should have left then, I said I tried, but as he knew there was several events in the area and no rooms were available ( I'm from michigan) . I am also certain this is a drug/ prostitution hotel, I was stopped by a police officer leaving the parking lot, he said he couldn't see my licence plate, after to speaking to me for 10 mins or so he asked if I was staying there, I responded yes, he said be careful, there are alot of drugs and things going on there, he recommended I make sure my doors were locked at all times on both my car and hotel room, I asked him if he knew any other places available, he said he didn't but if he were me he would look elsewhere ( I tried everyday to find a place. In my opinion this is a sad reflection of Wyndham hotels, and sadly I complained to corporate and they sent my complaint back to the property because it was independently owned, so I got to be berated by the same manager once again. Oh, the worst part of all this, they charged me over 230 a night. For a double queen room, they knew there were no options available for rooms anywhere else. Stay as far away from this place as you can,...
