QDOBA Mexican Eats — Restaurant in Farmington

We've been to this Qboda several times as it's my daughter's favorite restaurant and it's always been ok. (Not fabulous, not terrible, but ok.) However, we were so grossed out by the state of the restaurant tonight! We went in to grab dinner in the early evening. It wasn't busy at all; only one other customer was there (and it was too early for there to have recently been a rush). We walked in and were greeted by the site of three large, full, disgusting, stinky trash cans. They were pulled out in the middle of the floor like someone had at some point been in the middle of changing them, but three of the four workers (including the manager I think) were just sitting there talking/complaining. The trash cans were such that you had to walk by them to get your drinks. Gross! Almost every table in the entire restaurant was completely dirty. I would have turned around and walked out right then but my daughter had been begging to go here for weeks. We ate outside as it was the only space that was reasonably clean.... and finally when we left over twenty minutes later the employees had stopped chatting and someone had started to wipe down the tables. Unfortunately if that is how dirty the customer facing side is, I don't want to think about the kitchen/food prep area. (The food itself was also disappointing this time. I had gotten the last of the chicken that had clearly been sitting out a long time.) Please note that I don't like leaving negative reviews, but I hope someone reads this and implements...

The food was good so I don't want that to be a thought. My gripe is with this company firing the best manager that any company could ask for. She always went above and beyond for the customers and staff. She did whatever it took to make sure everyone was happy. We frequently went there to see a friendly face and now that we were going to be treated amazingly. Whoever put the review that she yelled at them and talked about them under her breath, im sure they are exaggerating immensely. From being in that restaurant on numerous occasions I have never seen her do anything close to those actions. Her name is Sylvia (sorry if spelled wrong) and she was the best thing that ever happened to your restaurant and she needs to be brought back. I hope that anyone who sees this review please like this review and show support for her and maybe with your help they will bring her back. Food very good, no complaints. I got there at 11:02, the doors were not open yet ( no complaints there either) So a heavy set lady with dark hair came out and unlocked the side door, came around to the front door where I was waiting and unlocked it, she didn’t say a thing , but her attitude was was raunchy, body language and expression disrespectful. Then she pretty much went through the door without even holding it for me to grab, I was right behind her.Not that I am special, but come on …..a nice person doesn’t do that especially to a customer who did nothing to deserve it.
