Si Señor Mex-Mex Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Farmington

We have tried most all Mexican restaurants within twenty miles, but this business is really tops in all areas, and wife and I go out most every Friday for some us time and relax, and the staff here are just the best we ever had the pleasure to meet and have such great choices and flavor anywhere and they go miles out to get your food just the way you enjoys it, and Margaritas 🍹 are really good. The waiters we got to know are so friend and so polite you don't see very often elsewhere. This is our go-to first choice for relaxing, fairly quite chill out place with great food and margaritas, of course Management and staff are doing outstanding jobs for this restaurant.

Update;8/22/25; My wife and I have been going here for the past year most every week. The total staff are really great, very friendly, very nice, smiles all around. The decor is very nice, comfortable seating booths and tables. The wait staff is great, explains menue items, suggests items, and will try to make any changes for your likes and tastes, The food we get has always been great, and if something is not right, we have always good. We really enjoy going there weekly and really look forward to the margaritas (big ones). Worst experience in a restaurant ever. The cheese dip we ordered for an appetizer was so liquidy that it wouldn’t stick to the chips. It was pure water. I nicely appologized and said we didn’t want it. I then tried the salsa that we were given, and it left my tongue tingling because it had a fermented. We were then told he couldn’t make a spicy margarita, then came back saying they couldn’t make a poloma, so we settled on a patron margarita and our server then came back to tell us that it was going to be a $15 margarita which is fine. Until we got the margarita, there was no triple II in it and it tasted like watered down tequila no flavor horrible margarita. Had no time did the manager ever come over and apologize. In fact, he rolled his eyes to the server when the server was relaying messages. We politely said that we didn’t wanna order food that we just wanted to take care of the two margaritas and cheese dip that we did not eat or drink and at no time did we get an apology and we’re still charged $45 for two margaritas and cheese dip, and guacamole. This used to be my husband and my favorite place to eat it Farmington, we probably ate there every week or two. The last 2 times we've been there we have gotten very poor service and the last time both of us got sick immediately after eating. Last time we waited on every drink, chips, and the waitress didn't bring the tortillas for the fajitas until I asked for them. It was difficult to know if she was done bringing everything out because she brought out a couple plates then went and talked on the phone, brought out a couple more plates and disappeared for a awhile, then finally brought my drink, and still no tortillas. We usually tip heavily, bit she got no tip from us and even glared at us for it. All this was at 3 in the afternoon so they were not busy at all.
