EDIT: I posted my original positive review back in 2019 when I was a regular customer. This place has severely gown downhill, so I'm changing my review.
I've been a regular customer since 2019, I eat at Santorini's probably about three times per week. I used to love this restaurant and loved introducing it to all my friends and family. But I'm sad to say they have lost my business.
I work from home, so normally I need to order via delivery. Ordering delivery is like playing Russian Roulette. Most of the time, the order you receive is entirely different from what you actually ordered (for example, I would order a bowl and receive two gyros?) or on the rare occasion that you actually do get the food you ordered, other parts of your order will be missing (ie, you will not receive your drink or sauces). So if you enjoy playing Russian Roulette with your meals and trying new foods by surprise, this is the restaurant for you. Otherwise, eat elsewhere.
When I reached out to the owner Sean to report this issue, he apologized and offered to send me a gift card to keep my business. I never received the gift card despite following up with him about three times. Furthermore, after reporting yet another incorrect delivery order, Sean promised me a refund and then later said I would need to contact Doordash for a refund. I ended up just disputing the charge with my bank because I was tired of going back and forth with them to receive a refund.
I'm not sure what happened to this restaurant I used to love, but it's definitely changed for the worse. Anyone have any recommendations for a new favorite restaurant? I need to find a new regular restaurant to give all my money to, because it won't be going to Santorini's anymore.
Sincerely, Your former...
Read moreWe love gyros, and have been to the same place in Farmington-loved it. Live closer to this bountiful location and happened to see it driving by for lunch today. I can’t even finish my gyro. It was sauced and whatever spice they put on it was wayyyy too much. I am someone who usually likes things more salty, but this was too salty. Our pita bread were both dripping oily sauce and the bottom was soggy-way too much oil sprayed. I watched her and wondered what the seasoning was she was dousing it with. The fries were at least good, and zucchini fries but the ranch was terrible. Not a cheap meal, so quite disappointing. I usually don’t leave reviews but they need to fine tune how much is used on the gyros-maybe check with Farmington location?? It was also the last of the meat in the tray so maybe they thought dousing it more in sauce would make the meat less dry, no. Next time I will say I want the fresh new meat that they lifted the lid off to see if...
Read moreI don’t even want to leave one star. I ordered takeout and let me just tell you the food was horrible, the food was over cooked or partially cooked. The falafel was burnt to hell. The corn was old and overseasoned. I mean, what do you expect from a restaurant with a bunch of teenagers who care more about talking then paying attention to food their serving to customers. This is like the Taco Bell of greek food. And that’s not a compliment. I was provided with horrible customer service. The short blonde teenager who works in the front was very impolite. She kept yelling to me across the restaurant and had a attitude. Honestly save yourself the time. If you want a better Greek food experience, I recommend going to Salt Lake City. They have better places and better customer service. I wouldn’t eat here ever again solely because of the terrible...
