If you would like to waste a lot of your time, this is the place to go, although the doctors and nurses are great at this visit. You will be in there for hours on end. They always claim that they are short staffed they are working as fast as they can. I came in on a Wednesday morning early to my appointment, got pulled back and waited in the room for an hour before even seeing a provider. When I stuck my head out of the hallway to see if someone was on the way the lady said oh the PA has already grabbed my chart. I waited another 25 minutes before they finally came in seen me just for a 5 minute visit. I was very sick and they did three cultures on me which they all of them came back negative. The doctor gave me an anabiotic and told me that he’ll call me Friday when the cultures come back. Didn’t tell me what antibiotics it was until I went to the front table and I don’t know some of you as women but if I get a certain anabiotic that causes a yeast infection so I asked the front desk lady. Hi I’m sorry I didn’t know what anabiotic he was gonna give me so is there anyway that I can get some fluconazole which is a medication for a yeast infection. The front desk lady gave me a look and asked me. Why didn’t I ask the doctor when I was back there with a little attitude!? I proceeded to say well, ma’am, he didn’t tell me the anabiotic,he was in and out and the nurse came back for the culture and then sent me upfront so I’m asking you is there anyway that you can just ask them to send the prescription with it. She was not very happy with me asking for the little assistance with her having to get up out of her seat. I don’t know how you can work in the health field and be so grumpy to someone that’s sick and asking for help. I understand that they are in urgent care, but it shouldn’t take over a whole hour to be seen and just pushed out the door. Friday have came and no phone call was received as promised from the provider. I called all day Friday and wasn’t able to reach the clinic at all. I called Saturday morning. Someone answered the first phone call which was amazing and they told me that a provider would call me later when they had the time Five hours go by and still no call. I called them back. Still unable to reach anyone. I call back an hour later after that, someone finally answered the phone, then proceeds to tell me oh, I’ve already handed that off to one of the nurses. They are very shortstaffed and busy and tries to give me a play-by-play how much time and effort it would take and that the patience that are here in the office now needs to be seen first. Basically saying to me that my phone call does not matter my results do not matter me being seen there and waiting all that time as a patient. There did not matter. I’ve worked in the health field before I know how things work. It is a simple task by looking up a chart number and just giving a person a decent common courtesy of a phone call back. When it comes to caring about their patients after care there is none this clinic is basically a place where you wait get seen...
Read moreI have recently aged out of my children's clinic in Fayetteville however, before I could find another PCP; I needed to have a TB Test completed. I came into this establishment at 12:46pm on Monday. I put my card down (insurance doesn't cover TB) & signed on to the waitlist. Checked in at 12:46pm because the desk attendant was able to do it before I was seated. I saw that there were 14 patients ahead of me and had a SELF understanding that it would probably take 2 hours before being seen. I proceeded to sit there for 3 hours. Around 3pm I was 1 patient behind on the waitlist. By 3:46pm I was behind 0 patients yet they proceeded to call 1 person to the back ahead of me. I went up and asked for a refund and the 2 women at the desk gave me "we send people back for all kinds of things could be something as simple as a physical or something that doesn't require a doctor", so... a TB Test???? They then said it was 1 person ahead of me and we should be getting called back at the same time. Lo and behold 2 people are called up and none of them are me. At this time it is 3:59 and i'm fed up so I get my refund and leave with a "sorry for your wait" from those ladies. I don't ever visit urgent care so this isn't a normal experience for me. Here I am thinking it'd be faster that Cape Fear Valley and now i'm almost certain i would've been seen quicker there. I then went to another urgent care set an appt for 4:35pm got there around 4:20pm, seen immediately, greeted with smiles, served complimentary coffee and water, and was in and out before 4:35pm. That simple TB test took LESS than 5 minutes. So thinking back to the ladies at this establishment telling me "some of them are being called ahead of you for quick things" blew my mind.
I say all this to say; don't lie to people. If you know the person is there for something simple and the wait may be hours long just tell them "Hey you may want schedule an appointment for tomorrow and we'll be able to assist you quicker.", or something of the sort. I lost my entire afternoon messing with y'all in that office only to go to another and spend less than 10 mins there. You should truly be ashamed of yourselves & i'd hate for somebody to be dying.
As I stated i'm actively looking for a PCP & until then y'all don't ever have to worry about me or anybody who's willing to listen to me being there EVER again. If you would like the name of the BEST urgent care facility in...
Read moreMay 5 2024 I among one of the best visits here I've had. They were running slow so I received a call asking if I'd like to come in early since they had very low wait times. When we got there, there were only 2 people ahead of us when normally it would be 15-20 people. The ladies at the front desk were absolutely wonderful, very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. The vitals nurse was very kind and gentle with my son and made it a fun experience for him. The doctor was very understanding and listened to what I had to say and worked with my son and I to make sure we got what we needed accomplished. Thank you for the wonderful experience today!
P.S. My son wanted to make sure everyone knows to expect the vending machines to be high priced.
June 20 2024 I had a nurse named hope who was absolutely amazing! I came in cause my legs got so swollen the skin was tearing and I was getting fluid blisters. So I had a lot of open wounds on my legs that needed to be cleaned and dressed. She let me work with her to create the least painful process to get them properly cleaned and dressed. She was very sympathetic and comforting threw this very painful experience.
I was a walk in and check in was easy and they did not have many people in line so I was able to get in very quickly. The ladies at the front desk for check in and out were both nice and helpful. When I got to the back the doctor was an older lady with short hair(can't remember her name) but she was very nice and listened to what I had to say and also asked a lot of questions to make sure she was able to properly diagnose the problem. Then she made sure I left in a better position then when I came in even though they weren't able to do too much. But she asked the nurse (amazing hope) to make sure my wounds were properly cleaned and dressed and then had her wrap them tight in a long 6in ace wrap to help reduce the swelling like compression socks do. They even sent me home with an extra pair so I had a set to use while I am cleaning the first pair.
The only other thing I would have liked them to have done it to have done aomething about the pain especially that if my wounds. Some lidocaine cream would have been a God send to numb while I clean.
But over alm it was one of the best experiences I've had...
