to start, ive worked in fast food/customer service since i was 16. if theres anyone in the world who understands the stress of these jobs, its me. i pardon less than stellar service all the time, because i get it. its been a long day, youre tired and want to go home. but my god, i’d have half a mind to think the employees at this burger king are being shackled by their ankles and held hostage. ive never had a single pleasant experience here, and have constantly been met with incredibly rude, seemingly miserable workers who just take out their hatred for their own lives onto their customers. this past friday night, 10/6/23, at around 11:45pm, i swung by with a friend to grab some food. sat there in the drive thru for 5-10 minutes. nothing. called out “hello?” a couple times, still nothing. so we figure they must be closed. we pulled up to the window and found a husky, middle aged, black gentleman (description for the sake of not knowing his name) , sitting atop the counter, doing absolutely nothing. seemingly the only person in the store. he opened the window and says “what did you have?” and we explain that nobody took our order. he, clearly disgruntled, asked us what we ordered. at this point, we just decided to leave, as we figured expecting this poor gentleman to do his job was entirely unreasonable and...

I pull up to order and the employee said they would be right with me, luckily I was the only car in line so I patiently waited....what felt like 2-3 minutes later the employee says sorry about the wait go ahead with your order, so I begin ordering, about half way thru ordering I get asked to hold on a second. At this point there are about 3 or 4 vehicles behind me now, the employee came back on the intercom and said will that complete your order? I said yes and the employee said alright 2nd window. I get to the window and the employee starts to hand me 2 drinks (I ordered 3, 2 Dr. Peppers and a lemonade) and I stated that I had 3 drinks and proceeded to get a random cup and random drink and I asked if I could have a drink tray and was replied with a "sure". I wait another minute till my food comes out and I pull forward to check my order, which I'm glad I did because my order had multiple things wrong and had to go back in to fix the issues. Read moreStopped here on 3/19 around 21:30 and I ordered three items one being a whopper with extra pickle. Once home I discovered I only had the standard 2 pickles, maybe 3 on my whopper. Mind you I used to work for BK for over a year in my past so I know how the food should be prepared. So people may say what is the big deal? The big deal is this: Any employee should do their job plain and simple. Do your job!! If you do not like your job then leave as soon as you can. But providing poor customer service is unacceptable. I was young once and viewed fast food jobs as just something to do to get a check, but I matured and learned that IT IS IMPORTANT FOR WORKERS TO GIVE CUSTOMERS A QUALITY PRODUCT.
