It's been quite some time since my last visit to Chili's, and during a recent trip to my parents' place, my dad suggested we dine there on a night when neither my mother nor I felt like tackling dinner at home. Stepping inside, a wave of nostalgia hit me, reminding me of my college and young adult days when Chili's was the go-to spot, especially for first dates (hehe).
My companions and I were promptly greeted and seated, a familiar experience from my numerous previous visits. A good start indeed. What caught my attention immediately was the new and expanded menu offerings at Chili's. While I spotted some old-school classics like Cajun shrimp pasta, burgers, and boneless chicken wings, the new-new was intriguing.
My dad, always one for value, opted for the "3 for me" deal. He ordered a burger (he's a fan of the hefty patty size), nachos, and took a walk on the wild side with a Margarita instead of the usual soda. He seemed particularly enthusiastic about the Big Mouth burgers, almost as if challenging me to take on the massive combination of meat, cheese, and toppings.
Challenge accepted. I confidently exclaimed, "Give me the Bacon Rancher," making sure to give my dad a playful side-eye, acknowledging his unspoken challenge. The food arrived promptly, fresh, and piping hot. What lay before me was a towering creation that seemed like someone's attempt to see how much they could stuff between two buns.
Two beef patties, six slices of bacon, house-made ranch, American cheese, sautéed onions, pickles – it sounded like a familiar combo, akin to a certain bacon cheeseburger at a fast-food chain that rhymes with "Bendy's." However, the Rancher's patties were colossal, surpassing the beef of Bendy's sandwich which rhymes with "FakinHater" and I had to tackle two of them! The bacon seemed thicker typical fast-food bacon, and the ranch had a different twist, yet the chef skillfully balanced its flavor amid the overwhelming tastes of beef, bacon, onions, and pickles.
Our server, although regrettably nameless in my memory, was fantastic and ticked all the boxes. In the end, my dad emerged victorious – there was no way I could finish that colossal burger in one sitting. However, it did make for a fantastic late-night snack (oh, those were the days).

Read more**Edit today- Well last time I was here was 11 month's ago and gave them 1 star, tonight 2/27/20 got here told 10-15 minute wait 40 minutes later seated placed kids order drinks and appetizers when drinks came out ordered Adults food, 30+plus had to catch the manager to ask about kids food he brought it out, then asked about appetizers.. got those, everything was cold, kids ate about 30minutes and still no Adults food had to get the manager again, told him to cancel orders we were leaving, after that finally our waitress came back for the first time since giving us our drinks and talking our orders. This is by far the worst establishment in my opinion in the area figured in 11months something would change, only one seemed to care was the manager! 11months agoHorrible service from start to finish. Honestly do not even deserve 1 star. Hostess could not set people properly was told 15 minutes wait waited 40 minutes, a group of 8 came in she told them a hour and seated them in 15 minutes. Waiter was just as bad with food and drinks. No communication between kitchen and wait staff, ordered food was told 15 minutes later it would be 20 minutes for pasta to be done said we would just take it to go. Waited almost 30minutes for 2 grilled cheese and chicken tenders for my kids then had to wait 20 more minutes after they ate to get my food to go that was still wrong. Tried to address the issues with manager he said sorry you feel that way and walked off, got the bill and it was wrong and they tried to add 1.99 table entertainment fee. Waiter took that off and I told him I wanted to talk to the manager again. He took off 15.00 which in my opinion still was not enough. I know nothing is free but that...
Read moreABSOLUTELY NOT, do not waste your time.
I went to this location twice, first time it was outstanding and amazing, super busy Saturday night and I was helped by the “ketchup guy”, he said if we need anything to put the ketchup out and he would come and help. Amazing, great service. Good food as well. Thats why this location got 2 stars.
ALTHOUGH, last time we went it was Monday afternoon, not busy at all, we walked in and waited in line (there was a couple in front of us) to be placed. They got them a table and right next to them got us a table. We waited for a good 35 minutes in a NON BUSY DAY until I decided to check with someone, I walked to the bar to ask why it was taking so long and the couple that was placed at the same time already had their food. The lady said: “you should check with your waitress” and pointed to our table where the waitress finally decided to check on us. She asked me if I ordered something from the bar and I explained I was only asking why it was taking so long, then she instantly said: “We are busy, don’t you see? Everyone here is waiting too” in a very very rude tone. We ordered food and my husband said 3 times no pickles, guess what? Food comes with EXTRA PICKLES. Despite the fact she kept sending other people to check on us, when we saw her (very rarely) we asked for our check. We didn’t tip, and trust me when I say that it’s from personal experience, I was a waitress for years and if I give any, I repeat ANY of my customers the attitude that woman gave me that day, I’d be fired before even finish my shift. We don’t treat customers poorly, no matter what you’re going through.
For this experience I do not recommend this place, unless you can ask for the...
