I am absolutely appalled at the level of service displayed today.
We placed an order online around 11:28am and the email said it would be ready between 11:38-11:58. At 11:59 my husband went into to pick up the order and was told that they had just received it and put it in (he got a notification on his way in saying the order was confirmed). At that point, yes, frustrating, but understandable as technology can be glitchy.
We waited another 30 minutes and he went in to ask (because at this point, the order was late and they knew we had been waiting, so shouldn’t there have been some kind of priority for it?), and it still wasn’t close to being ready. He said they were busy and seemed flustered and chaotic and didn’t know how to handle the situation. We waited another 30 minutes, and he asked for a refund because it still wasn’t ready. The girl doing the refund wouldn’t speak or look at him; she wouldn’t talk at all. Just went to speak to another woman and handled it.
I tried to call the location several times but no one answered the phone. So there was no way to verify our order or speak to anyone about it either.
I wasn’t dressed to go inside anywhere (thus doing a pickup order), so he came back out and we tried to order somewhere else, but at this point it’s 1pm and there’s no breakfast anywhere. So I went ahead and went inside and asked if there was anything at all they could do, but she said that since they refunded it, they stopped working on the order (even though they’d been “working on it” for an hour at that point), and we could replace it and pay for it again or she could seat us and we could order that way? So obviously those weren’t good solutions, so I left and she yelled to “have a good day” as I walked out.
There was a complete lack of care and empathy from every employee involved. It was clear they did not care to do anything extra to make up for it. It was a 2-hour process to try to order breakfast and they just sat back, panicked, and then just gave up entirely on doing anything to resolve the situation. On top of that, not being able to call or confirm or check, and then having to do everything in person…. If you can’t handle your business, you definitely shouldn’t even have an online ordering option. If it’s too stressful to run the store with a busy guest list for seating inside, then maybe don’t make it possible to try to do more, if you can’t handle the basics.
I will never eat at any Jimmy’s Egg again, and you should think 3 times (or maybe call and see if they answer before ordering so you will know if they’re even reachable) before ever doing anything online. They are so unprofessional and uncaring—customer service is a huge part of the food industry, and they are so lacking in this area. It’s not worth the $50 we were going to spend that they refunded to NOT do something to make up for this. Completely unacceptable and embarrassing on their part....

Omelette Excellence:
Jimmy's Egg boasts an omelette selection that's both vast and creative. The classics like Denver and veggie are flawlessly executed, but I highly recommend venturing into their signature creations. My personal favorite is the "Popeye's," a spinach and feta omelette bursting with tangy flavor and sun-dried tomatoes. Every bite is a perfect harmony of textures, with the creamy eggs cradling the salty feta and juicy tomatoes.
Beyond the fillings, the sheer size of these omelettes is impressive. They're generously portioned, guaranteed to satisfy even the hungriest breakfast warriors. Each omelette comes with your choice of sides, and I particularly enjoy their crispy hash browns and fluffy buttermilk pancakes.
Service with a Smile:
The friendly staff at Jimmy's Egg is another reason I keep coming back. They're attentive and efficient, ensuring your coffee cup stays full and your requests are promptly met. There's a genuine warmth to their service that makes you feel like a welcome regular, even on your first visit.
Ambiance for Any Occasion:
The atmosphere at Jimmy's Egg is equally inviting. The brightly lit dining area is spacious and comfortable, with both booths and tables to accommodate solo diners and larger groups. There's even a charming patio for enjoying your meal under the Arkansas sunshine.
Overall, Jimmy's Egg earns a solid 4-star rating from me. It's not the fanciest breakfast joint in town, but its consistent quality, friendly service, and omelette mastery make it a surefire hit for any...
Read moreEverything was going great until they all gathered for a happy birthday song and the employee that was waiting on me began talking about how disgusting it is that I don't have shaved armpits. I was blown up by a grenade when I was 4 my skin is to delicate for shaving. The fact that all the employees were so immature and unprofessional. I watched as each employee found a way to come look at my disgusting arm pits as one employee noted how gross and no wonder I was there alone. It is pathetic that other women are behaving like teenagers and doing things that tear other women down inside. If I was not self employed and professional I would have caused a scene. I honestly feel sorry for these WOMEN that they are not better educated by refraining from the gossip of their miserable pointless lives. I didn't leave a tip today because I was mortified at being a side show attraction while visiting with my grandma for the last time before I traveled to start another part of one business I started at 19. These WOMEN are pathetic and have no idea what kind of money I have because my luggage was lost coming home yesterday. I hope all the employees know that I called the rest of my family and went to a different restaurant to finish our visit. I didn't want to subject other people to the behavior. I hope they learn a valuable lesson and I will never step foot in another one of the Jimmy...
