Thank God my food was good but the customer service deserves 0 stars. For starters, I called ahead of time to ask if the location was busy because every time I place an order there, it usually is. So to save myself the wasted time, I called ahead and was instructed to place an order online because the orders are “supposedly” made as soon as the customers place them. That was far from the truth because my pickup was scheduled to be picked up within 10 minutes and I waited much longer than that once I got to the location. It turns out I was waiting because my order was completed but was just sitting on the prep table not being tended to and getting cold. I asked the same employee who was prepping my order if it’s finished because I had been waiting way past the pickup time. She told me with an attitude “it’s not ready yet” even though I was looking right at it. To make matters worse, one of the employees had on her gloves, turned around to start the blender, (with her gloves on) scratches the inside of her ear, turned back around, made eye contact with me and proceeded to prepare more smoothies without changing her gloves. It was disguising mainly because after she made eye contact with me I know she realized she should’ve taken that time to change the glove but she didn’t. If she was the employee that was preparing my food, I would’ve demanded a refund and never patronized this business location again. Read moreSpoke with general manager dawn today with absolutely no help at all. sad that the owner is willing to risk losing a customer that comes every single day. I was told that the app doesn’t work at this location and I could go to another location. I don’t need to go to another location. I can’t go to another location, this is right next to my job. I asked her if I could speak to a franchise owner and email some type of phone number and I was refused. Cannot even gain double points like the app offers. There was no other option. She gave me besides going to another location so I hope the owner owns every location in Fayetteville if she’s losing business for her is a general manager she should want as many customers at her location as possible. Would love to get a phone call back from the owner or somebody somewhere. This is the sad thing with franchisees is that there is no standard.
** update still no contact from franchise owner or tropical smoothie themselves. Went in there for a visit today. And I believe the manager was standing with the owner. It looks like. And she begins to whisper about me loudly than the owner realizes I can hear her and he begins to talk about a menu. Mind you this woman is probably in her late 30s and she’s gossiping. And this is who you have Representing your company

Read moreI used to love this location but I will never go to the skibo location again becuase of the current staff and management. I came in to get my order and only my smoothie was in ready. I watched as only 2 people were actually working and preparing the orders while 3 other young people where just talking in the back. I waited over 15 minutes and asked about my food. It took them asking me several times what I had and asking each other. Then a young light skinned lady pulls my food down from the top of the shelf. I expressed my displeasure that my food had been sitting out and she said it would have been anyway. No concern for the fact that I have been waiting for food that was misplaced. I asked for the manager she said she was one. I asked for the corporate number because of her nasty attitude and she responded to look it up. So I requested to return my cold food, another manager came out and as I was explaining what happened the young girl was laughing and shaking her head as if she didn't say anything I told her boss that she said. The other manager stated she would give me a refund but I checked my bank account weeks later and I was never refunded. Even after she wrote refunded on my receipt.
