85°C Bakery Cafe Review: A Delightful Treat for Any Age What a wonderful find! As someone who’s been around the block a few times, I can honestly say 85°C Bakery Cafe is one of the most enjoyable bakery experiences I’ve had in quite a while. It reminds me of the bakeries I used to visit in my younger years, but with a modern twist—and a distinctly Asian/Taiwanese flavor that’s simply delightful. I was impressed right away by the huge selection of pastries. The shelves were full when we arrived in the morning, and it was such a joy to walk along and see all the fresh, beautifully made breads and treats. Everything looked so tempting! And the best part? The pastries aren’t overly sweet—just the right amount of flavor without going overboard. It’s a refreshing change from many bakeries these days. We picked up a mango cake, and it was light as air—not heavy or overly rich. Just perfect with a cup of tea. Truly a treat. The variety here is also worth noting; there’s something for every taste, whether you prefer sweet, savory, or a little bit of both. The staff was so kind and attentive, which I always appreciate. They made sure we found what we were looking for and had everything we needed. Service was quick and pleasant—just the way I like it. The coffee was fine—not the best I’ve had, but it’ll do if you’re having a pastry alongside it. Honestly, the real stars here are the baked goods. If you’re watching calories, maybe don’t look too closely—but trust me, it’s worth it now and then to indulge. The space is a bit small and not the most comfortable if you’re planning to sit for a while, but if you’re just picking up some goodies to take home or enjoy in the car, it works just fine. All in all, I highly recommend 85°C Bakery Cafe. It’s a charming spot with excellent baked goods and lovely staff. I think I’ve found my new favorite bakery—and that’s saying something!

The bakery items - wonderful and flavorful as always. The baker also announces when they place a new batch of food on the stands for people to maybe choose and pick the fresher one. This is an awesome gesture in my opinion. There is no concern with the quality here. The only concern I have is the crowd. It was a Sunday afternoon and it took me almost thirty minutes to get my stuff. There are three counters for payments however only two were at function. I understand having all three function at once would not have a tremendous impact however I would still say even if the customer's waiting time is cut by five minutes - its a win. The lavender latte is a clear winner. For the people going - I would recommend if you are more than one person and its busy - have one of you join the queue for payment and the other shop for the food - it will save time. As it is, coffee order is taken at the payment counter only, so you have to additionally wait for your coffee if ordering, even after your done with the payment queue. I still give a five star coz its the food and the price that knocks it off the roof.

Their mango milk pudding bread is amazing!!! I will literally go in there and buy all of it. I did last week but this week, I was too late. It probably sold out. But the 2 star was for the staff that did my drink! Her attitude and rudeness is what got the 2 star. Everybody before me and including me had said please and thank you when ordering. Upon retrieving our drinks, she literally just threw their straw n toss the drink. Real childish. I watched her make my drink from start to finish. She let it sit on the seal machine until I came up and asked for it. The cashier end up giving me my drink. When I came back for a straw she threw it like she wanted to get slap. She was bad. If she didn’t look like a little high school kid, I probably would of jumped across the counter and let her know not to do that again. Overall, the food is great…but I wouldn’t recommend to order their drinks. The wait is long and that particular skinny white girl that makes it, is helllla slow and rude. Not worth the stress.

Worst customer service ever. One person saying bathroom is being used and wait for key. 3-5 min later someone walked out of bathroom and turned key to another customer service lady. She said bathroom is closed for today. My daughter was holding for long time and now they are saying it's closed...I was very upset. Maybe because we are Indian people and they think we might make their bathroom dirty....I was begging they to let my daughter use bathroom because bathroom is still being used and they have the key returned by another person. Another lady started talking from far away saying bathroom is closed and can't use it...I said again please let her use it before she pees on floor there....She said another lady gave key to another customer by mistake. They don't let anyone use bathroom after it's clean for the day.......I was like she will make sure she won't make any mess please let her use it. We just spent over $100 buying cakes and other things but she said no it closed..... I am very upset at this please because they made my little daughter only 12 years old suffered for so long just because they cleaned bathroom before business hours are over.... If you want to go there to shop, make sure to call ahead to find out if they have already cleaned bathroom so they don't make your small kids suffer. I wouldn't be this upset if they would have told us right away bathroom is closed. I would have drove to different place to use bathroom....... This place just lost my respect. I don't care about the good quality of cake they...
