Placed an order online for in store pick up ( Thinking it would be faster then walking in and hunting for it and then get in line with it) My order says it will be available for pick up at like 5pm the following day and I should receive an email that says hey, I'm ready come pick me up. 7pm the following day rolls around and nothing. I called the store at lest 3 time to just wait on hold for a looong time. We finally get to this BestBuy, we came all the way from Seattle to pick up, and we go to the pick up line and let the lady know that we should have received something for pick up but never did? She says oh yeah we are so busy. lol I looked a round and there were not even a lot of people in the store. I said oh, ok. She pulled up the order and paged someone in the back to grab. This was about 7:45pm. 8:15 rolls around and were going like where is the TV? Go back to the lady and say, Hi we still never go the TV. She said ok hold on one sec. she dissapeared, a few min later another lady come up and asked if she could help us. We explained to her about the TV, also letting her know this is was starting to irritate me. its now 8:30. She paged to the back and requested the TV. I said you guys close at 9, are we going to get before you close lol. Another 15 min and we finally have the TV. We walked towards the exit where the TV was waiting for us, also where the employee who checks you out to confirm that it is your item to pick up only he just looked and smiled at us and when we went to go hand him the receipt he rejected it and just said your all good. I was like wow really, in that case these other TV's sitting here are mine also lol. Over all the lack of customer service is what's killing the brick and mortar places. Read moreThe Best Buy itself was pretty standard as far as Best Buy's go, but the staff went way above and beyond to help me get everything I needed. I was asked if I needed help finding anything and was about to say that I was fine, but asked if they had a particular obscure part. Next thing I knew, I had a team of personal shoppers leading me around the store, checking stock rooms and shelves all over the store to hunt hidden things down for me. They also went out of their way to discount products that model numbers didn't jive with the closest labeled prices, even though I didn't ask and they had to pull people in for overrides. Read morePet Smart. Went to pick up my dog haircut and nail trim. Someone checking in one at time in room policy. Waited 5 minutes people still checking in. Still waiting outside room to get my dog. If it takes that long to check in why do other people have to wait so long just to pick up their dog. Not a very good business policy for customers to have to wait forever because someone is having a problem. I could understand if maybe it was once in a while however seems this is the norm at this location. Someone in management needs to get off their butt and do something to correct the situation.
