This used to be our go to spot for pho in Federal Way. How times have changed. In the past the service was fantastic. First red flag was when our server was taking our order. It was like she was in a rush even though they were not busy at all. Asked for extra cilantro for my pho which I get an abrupt "Yeah, yeah what else..." I noticed she didn't write it down but whatever. We were given 3 waters for our table of five. Politely asked another server for two more. Our food came out sporadically. The wife had a rice plate that came out first. We then watched as two other tables the seated after us receive their bowls of pho before us. We finally got our complete order 10 min after the first plate. At this point I again asked for two more waters. During the whole exchange of food they proceeded to put everything on my end of the table promting me to leave my seat and place it where it belonged. No big deal but we were being charge 10% for a party of five and I'm magically the server for our table. I must mention that they had clear access to everyone so it puzzles me why they just kept plopping everything down in front of me. Wouldn't you know it no cilantro, maybe because you didn't write it down? Again no big deal. I got up to ask at the counter politely to which I get a sigh and eye roll. Wth. Still waiting on those waters. At this point I've scoped out the water station and flag down our server and ask if we could AGAIN have out two other waters. I could see a look of impatience on his face to which I reply jokingly "You know what bro... I can just get it myself." At which he shrugs and walks the opposite direction of the water station. Fed up with the situation I proceeded to fill our last two waters myself and bring them back to the table. When I returned the gentleman at the next table says "Did that just happen???? Dude really made you get your water???" Needless to say that table was experiencing the same horrible service. Will not be back. Unless I want to be treated like trash. It'd be one thing if we were being rude to them but that wasn't the case. I can also understand if they were super busy but that was far from the case. Stay away unless you love rude non...
Read moreWorst customer service I have ever personally experienced (manager in particular). I have given this place multiple chances and yet they still failed to serve me and my friends properly. The manager kept showing attitude and yelling at our friend that they were not aloud to sit at the table close to us because of “covid restrictions” and kept raising her voice louder to the point of where we heard her yelling at them from across the room. Not even 3 minutes later other people were seated right next to us where our friends asked to be seated. She sat them down at a table that was furthest from ours(feel like purposely). My friend stood up to grab napkins that they ran out of. As soon as he did and was walking back to his table she ran up to him and threatened to call the police (which she was showing as if she was, by fake dialing and placing the phone next to her ear)for “stealing napkin” as she called it and she did not stop screaming at him for it until a couple minutes went by. Quick little message to the normal severs and workers that are working there (if they have any to be quite honest)Quit! Find a better job. I don’t think it’s worth it for the pay and manager they have to deal with while they work. It just puts me in extreme disgust being treated like this every single time I went there not once NOT EVEN ONCE did I have normal customer service and experience without the manager (that looked like if Edna from the Incredibles and Lord Farquhar from Shrek had a child most respectful way to put it) yelling and throwing fits and nonstop threatening with the police when all we want to do is just EAT! Not worth it what so ever. If you are the owner of Pho Tai and you see this message I think it’s time to let her go and I promise I PROMISE you will...
Read moreNot what you think it’s going to look like when you walk in as I found it quite modern and very open and clean!! Was shown to our seat with fast service and then the wait ensued and it might of been due to the fact that we we’re actively looking at the menu and not around in search of a person to take our order and when we did start to look she was there quick and so the ten minutes could of been part our fault! The seating is wide open and it was lunch but the place was open and not too busy at that time! On a visit to the bathroom I was happy to find a clean and tidy bathroom! As I have found it hard to have a good meal when I go to use the bath room and I’m stepping over poopy paper or piss soaked ground but this place was clean and with that I decided on a French Vietnam sandwich after finding out that it’s from the 1950s when the French occupied the area and it is a carry over from that time and the best part of my life (my wife) ordered the squid 🦑 pho 🍜 and it was good I didn’t try as I had a bad squid experience in 8th grade and haven’t ate it since and I may be missing out but I’ll pass! After ordering i looked around and seen the floor to ceiling Windows which allows the perfect amount of natural light in but at the same time has a nice dim vibe! The food was ok I think I could of used a better sauce! And so my wife and her kid love it and I...
