Sunright Tea Studio — Restaurant in Federal Way

Just wanted to write an update after witnessing an amazing act of kindness during probably one of their busier days as they are currently doing a Love and Deepspace (popular game) collab and have a long line every time they open. We have been here twice to receive my goodies as they are currently doing one set of collab goodies per order. The staff here has done an exceptionally job not only ensuring that the experience goes smoothly for fans but also still making great drinks. I love the collaboration drinks as they were all made deliciously and refreshing, especially with how hot it has been.

Now on the second day (8/11), my boyfriend and I were waiting for our days and suddenly I heard a small commotion coming from outside near the door but couldn't see as their window decals was covering whatever was going on. I let my boyfriend know that we should be careful as we walk out cause it looked like someone spilled something. My boyfriend was able to peer better as he was closer and noticed that the person didn't spill something but was bleeding excessively. A kind bystander walked in a few times to grab paper towels to help with the bleeding before asking one of the employees if they had a band aid. Now again, this place is packed and still has a long line (probably 50 people) and the one who went to grab a first aid kit was the one helping and announcing out names for those to pick up their drink. This gentleman went above and beyond and stayed with the injured person even as we were leaving. The rest of the crew did their best to adjust to missing a person but showed no signs of annoyance or negative feelings which shows that they were prepared for the busy opening. This employee did this for a patron who hadn't even gone in and ordered and did what they could to aid them and I truly think that is an act that should be noticed. Just wanted to update my review to say how impressed I am with Sunright’s customer service. I lost some drink reward credits and their team helped me recover them quickly and easily. Super friendly and responsive. Great tea and great service—always a pleasure coming here!

We’re loyal customers of Sunright and usually love stopping by for our milk tea fix. Today, though, was really disappointing. We placed our order through the kiosk as usual and were excited to use a hard-earned reward we had saved up. But when it came time to check out, the machine gave an error and said it couldn’t process the reward—then it just disappeared from our account.

It was super busy, and we didn’t want to cause extra stress for the two staff members who were clearly doing their best to keep things moving. Still, it was frustrating to lose a reward we were looking forward to using. I wish there was a better way to recover it or at least get help when something goes wrong. We’ll keep coming back because we love the drinks, but this experience definitely left...
