McDonald's — Restaurant in Findlay

I am a big fan of McDonalds, especially the Frappes! However the service and treatment I received on 10/8/12 at the Findlay McDonalds was totally unacceptable. I provided the attendant in the drive thru a $20 bill. I know it was a $20 bill because I just came from the ATM machine. I purchased a coffee and a breakfast burito. The attendant provided me w/ change for a $10 bill. I noted the confusion on the money exchange and was subjected to an extended delay as the employees counted the drawer as I waited in my vehicle. 8-10 minutes later, the manager Bobbie indicated that the drawer was close enough and that I had made an error. I guess that she is assuming that the attendant didn't make any +/- mistakes throughout the entire morning. I felt like I was treated as a person who is not to be trusted and that the manager lacked any personal rapport, only able to quote company policy. I don't mind losing the $10 (although I wish I had the 10-15 minutes back). The treatment and rapport was unacceptable and something I really didn't expect. I am an engineering professional and noted that I was late to my next sales appointment. I believe that I was courteous and patient in waiting for the proper change to be reimbursed (which never happened). I did mention to Bobbie the manager that I would be following up on this event.

I will obviously eat at McDonald's again in the future, but will avoid this particular location forever! ...

That's right, 1 star. And yes, I've been to this McDonald's multiple times. And I still give it 1 star. That's because they've yet to do anything to make me glad I went here.

What you absolutely should not do: Go through the drive thru. There's 2 lanes, they are equally slow and frustrating. This McDonald's has taken the rare step of installing a 3rd drive thru window for the sole purpose of making those still waiting pull forward even more so that they can fit more people in their ridiculous line. And they're probably going to get your order wrong so you'll end up having to go inside anyway.

Once you go inside, it gets more fun. There are 5 registers at the counter, but only 1 will EVER be manned. This is a rule written on a stone tablet somewhere. Now you get in line and wait. Once you get to the counter, you'll give your order to someone who is inevitably in training, so you wait some more while they hunt and peck across the screen to enter your order. After you pay, get ready to wait some more! All the people milling around the counter weren't waiting to give their orders, they were waiting to get their food! I find it's easier to just take a seat at this point.

The only real benefit to going inside is that you're already in the building so you don't have to park your car and come in when you get your food and discover they got it wrong. So you save some...

So i order food and i use a mobile code to get somthing free with purchase of a item i buy my item but dont get the free item even though i gave them the code and not the mention the item i bought got added after the code but the free item did not so how did u add the item that cones with the free item u less u got the code. Now it wasent a huge deal until the management made it sound like i didnt give them the code or was supposed to get the free item and was giving attitude about it. Than had the nerve to say well ill give u the item only this one time even though i shouldnt. Implies that i have done this before which i havent or implied that i never was supposed to get the item and made it up after i got my food which was not the case i spend alot if money here but normally after work apparently night shift is the good crew because i could of brought up how the guy that took my order was rude for no reason. If the code wasent added than how did he know to add the item u had to buy to get the free item. If its your mistake fix it dont say well will only doing this once. when i paid for the food to get the free item. Just quit using the moblie app for customers if ur gonna waste peoples time. That lady is the same age as me i may look young but im not and giving people attitude is wrong no matter the age andto act like that is crazy just fix the order dont...
