My wife and I stopped here on our way home while traveling. Really the only positive I have for this post is that we don't live near it so we won't have to go by it ever again. It seemed understaffed at lunch time on a Monday and took a while to even be able to place an order. When we placed our order, I feel like that person did a nice job. We got our cups and went to the free style machine. I wanted to get minute maid light fruit punch which was out in the machine. I went to the counter and asked if they could fill it up at the drive through window to which the guy said he'd check and see if they have it thete. He came back and said it's just hi-c fruit punch back there and would that be ok. I said no, I would like the minute maid light and would it be possible to just change out the cartridge in the machine. He looked annoyed, as did some lady next to him working there. He went back to ask the manager to change it out and then came back with a fruit punch in his hand and said "My district manager gave this to me" and I asked "is that minute maid light?" And he said he didn't know. I said "I have said I want minute maid light. I don't know what is so hard to understand about that. Can someone just change out the cartridge?" Finally, someone changed it out and it was all set. The other thing I am just shocked with is that the people who load the food into the to go bag don't wear gloves. Touching the fry and nugget containers where the food will obviously touch and not having...
Read moreWe chose Wendy's today because the chicken nuggets are dairy free so my son can eat them. They also carry a good juice box that isn't straight sugar. But the good ends there.
This was the worst drive thru experience that I've ever had. I sat at the speaker for 2 mins waiting for them to take my order. I looked ahead and there were 2 cars in the drive thru ahead of me. It was 230 in the afternoon so after the lunch rush. The lady got upset when I ordered my meal (a Dave's double combo large size with a coke zero no tomato add cheese and bacon)
She got upset and said "hold on!" And then sighed loudly and said delete item and then started adding my meal back as a bacon classic. She had given me attitude from the moment she asked for my order. When I got to the window, she was slamming the window and just in general being very rude. She was yelling at ppl inside. She practically threw the food at me. The bag had a big hole in the bottom and side. After I pulled away I went to get my kid his chicken nuggets, I noticed his fries were also missing. I definitely wasn't turning around to go back and deal with her again.
I should have known that the place was going to be bad (judging by all the bad reviews of this place, and all the ppl that were sitting in McDonald's and tacobells drive thrus) it is.
Won't be back to this Wendy's. I'd recommend skipping it too. Hopefully the ownership figures out the bad here because...
Read moreThis was the WORST experience that I have ever had at a Wendy's. This wasn't the first time at this location either. Over 30 minutes in the drive thru from start to finish. Check your drive-thru VIDEO Wendy's regional and corporate offices. Date 1/3/22. Time 6:15 pm to 6:45 pm. A line out to the street and it was almost like they were making the food as made to order like a real restaurant. No pre-planning or thought process to have food hot and ready for customers. I ordered a chicken sandwich and had to pull up and wait additional 6 mins, after sitting at pick up window. Sandwich was finally brought out and NO APOLOGY for this UNACCEPTABLE, excessive wait. No fries or anything to try to make customers happy for this 30 minute wait. If I wasn't so hungry, I never would have waited in that line. I was ready to drive off, but didn't after sitting there that length of time and they already had my money. DON'T BLAME COVID Wendy's, which is the new excuse these days. Dining room is closed and staff was at a minimum. HIRE SOME STAFF! I'm sure profits are at record levels along with ALL other fast food food places. Shame on...
