My recent experience with Julia's customer service left much to be desired, and unfortunately, it's a tale of disappointment and frustration. It's disheartening to recount an encounter that highlighted the lack of professionalism and empathy from someone in a service-oriented role.
After sitting waiting for our food for a long while, Julia approached us, politely asking us not to have our son on the couch. This request was understandable and entirely within the rules of the establishment, so we complied without issue. However, what followed was an unnecessary and unwarranted confrontation that soured our entire visit.
Despite our son being well-behaved and simply greeting other customers as they entered, Julia felt the need to make a comment about "containing" him. This remark was not only uncalled for but also disrespectful, especially considering our son's behavior was far from disruptive.
Feeling unsettled by Julia's approach, I decided to address the situation with her directly. Expressing my belief that she could have handled the matter with more tact and understanding, I hoped for a constructive dialogue. Instead, Julia responded with a patronizing grin and the remark, "you can do better too."
This dismissive and condescending attitude only served to exacerbate the situation and left me deeply disappointed. It's disheartening to encounter such a lack of professionalism and empathy, especially in a service industry where customer satisfaction should be paramount.
In conclusion, Julia's behavior during our interaction was wholly unacceptable and has left a lasting negative impression. It's evident that she is not fit to be in a customer-facing role, and her attitude towards patrons is a disservice to the establishment she represents. My hope is that this review serves as a cautionary reminder for both Julia and the management to prioritize respectful and considerate customer service...
Read moreMy husband and I have had a crazy last 30 hours, having arrived back to DIA from a trip to NYC early yesterday morning, driving home to Colorado Springs, then finding out at midnight that my daughter-in-law in Johnstown was in labor and we needed to get our 18 month old grandson and their two dogs. We picked up our grandson at the hospital at 2am and drove to Johnstown to get their dogs and head back to Springs. Her labor progressed rapidly, so we decided to wait. Our new grandson was born at 4:08am. We grabbed a couple of hours of sleep at their house, contacted our neighbor to let out and feed our four dogs back home, and headed back to the hospital. We stopped at the Firestone Starbucks and the barista was the epitome of kindness and professionalism when I told her a portion of the story, even after I had forgotten to reload my app and held up the line. She insisted we take water, and exemplified giving a “cup of cold water” and a delicious cup of coffee and sandwich to a weary, but excited, grandma. I didn’t get her name, but she was amazing and I so appreciate her patience and kindness. The whole store was pretty amazing, too! Thank you so much!!! What a great memory you guys...
