100% would recommend this location. A quick visit to check on an AC in our car and we have been hooked. They were thorough, HONEST and kind with what work NEEDED to be done on our 10 year old car. They were also willing to tell me what repairs we could wait on and didn't need to complete! Wait...what...turning down and opportunity to sell something! Yup, I never felt pushed into or convinced that work needed to be completed. They spent a good hour diagnosing the problem with our AC and when we decided to not do the repair at that time they gave me some paper work and said "have a nice day". They won my business that day!
Today I was back for an oil change and expected it to be an "easy" visit. We knew the tires were iffy and that the brakes were becoming a problem. Ryan came out and discussed all the work that was being completed today and suggested a few other things. He also mentioned what needed to completed down the road and a round about number for the cost. Again he was HONEST and thorough and kind. He even engaged my 2 year old son who was with me! He also took the time to look at paper work from the dealership shop to help me understand what work was previously completed. He pointed out what work was missed that they should have completed and he also pointed out the areas where they charged me for just the test drive to find the problem ($150!!!!).
I hate the feeling of being a woman and walking into a car shop and immediately feeling stressed about all the things that will be rattled off to me only to smile and nod like I understand what they are talking about. I HATE DEALING WITH CAR ISSUES (and my dad was a car salesmen and my brother knows cars inside and out), but I STILL hate the feeling. Ryan and his team made this so easy and I finally feel like I have found a place I TRUST and can go here for repairs and know that I am not being taken advantage of.
As I waited for my car to get finished I noticed that Ryan knew or had spoken to almost every customer that came in the door. Repeat customers speaks a lot to his values of the shop he runs! Ask to see the itemized breakdown before paying. Today I had a ādiscountā applied as an extra labor charge. The only reason I noticed was because the labor price on my receipt did not match the printout they gave of my quoted price for the exact same work. It was the exact amount of my ādiscountā added to the labor. I went in to dispute and he tried to tell me it was because of taxes but when I showed him my quote and reciept, he admitted I was right and gave me the refund of the discount. I still got scammed because I paid taxes on the rate with the extra charge. Dollars and cents, whatever, but itās the principle⦠I usually like to give the benefit of the doubt, but this seems intentional because itās a charge thatās built into their system called āManager Labor Discount.ā But instead of subtracting, it adds to the subtotal. This is a good lesson that goes for any auto shop honestly⦠keep your quotes and double check your receipts⦠otherwise I havenāt had any issues at this shop and they fixed...
