I have come to 7B a few times now and the customer service is usually great. The drinks are great too, especially the Fizz. The issue I have is the recent issue with requesting "light ice" in my drink. I hate extra ice in my beverages, so I always order my beverages with light ice. I don't believe in paying for more ice and half the product. When they brought my drink to my car, I noticed it wasn't light ice. I sent it back and just asked if they would scoop out the extra ice. I figured "not a big deal." I also used to work at a coffee company, some people just don't like ice. The gal seemed irritated that I requested for them to remove the extra ice, since it wasn't what I ordered. Then she told me that it would be 50 cents more next time I ordered a beverage with light ice since they have to replace the ice with more product. 50 cents isn't going to break my pocket but I sincerely think this odd (and not smart marketing). It did make me wonder if the owner needs the 50 cents more than me. However, it's not my company, so I guess just be mindful of the 50 cent cost because if you order light ice they do take it personal and upcharge you. Which does seem unfair to customers if I have to pay for a cup of ice with half the product.
Either way their drinks are good, just don't order light ice. You might ruffle some...
Read moreI've been here three times - the first time I was overall fairly happy. The staff was very friendly and although they don't really have a menu, my order is simple so it didn't bother me. I got a small decaf iced latte with vanilla. I thought the drink was decent, especially considering the size of a small is compared to at least a medium at other coffee shops and not too expensive. The second time I went I got the same drink and when the gentleman brought it to me, I noticed nothing was written on the cup specifying it was decaf and he told me "sugar free vanilla latte" and I told him no and that it needed to be decaf (I have a heart condition and while not a huge deal, I rarely have caffeine) he said "uhhh....yeah...that too.." and seemed very confused. Not to mention I also didn't want sugar free, but I was in a rush so I didn't bother. Unfortunately, the drink did not end up being decaf and I was pretty bummed with the sugar free after taste. The last time I went there, I don't think they gave me decaf again and the coffee just didn't taste good. It had somewhat of a burnt flavor and they didn't put any vanilla in either (first world problems lol). Overall, the place is in a convenient location and the staff was friendly but I don't think I will try it a...
Read moreI've gone here a handful of times and it's always a toss-up of if they're going to make the drink correctly or not. Even after they verify my order, it'll still be wrong. I'm often told "yes it's your order they just added....." which by definition would not be my order. My last straw was this past weekend when we went, I ordered 2 drinks made with oat milk. When we got to the bay the individual confirmed an oat milk latte and a chiller. I ask them to confirm if the chiller was made with oat milk and instead of just saying yes they response was "usually when you tell us oat milk we make it with oat milk." So, I had to inform them that unfortunately that was incorrect. This individual then went inside and chatted for several minutes while holding our beverages...letting us sit there while things were done. I'm in no way trying to be a customer is always right person. My question was a simple verification and if the order is done it should be given to the customer - they shouldn't have to wait for you to joke around and continue on. We're paying, give us what we are paying for and let us leave. We will...
