If the pumps are open, it's a convenient place to get gas in a large box truck or semi usually. But yesterday when I pulled up to the pumps in my box truck to fill up on DEF, only two lanes were open, both occupied. So I waited my turn, pulled up, ran my card and it told me to go see the cashier. No big deal at all... Or so I thought... Apparently, all lanes were closed. I couldn't have known that because I pulled in behind someone that had just left, in a lane that had no cone blocking it. But apparently, that makes me worthy of zero respect from the bearded redheaded manager there. I didn't realize that "please see cashier" meant that I had to go inside to have some random gas station manager disrespect me and argue with me without explaining in any way shape or form why the pumps are closed.
Literally all he had to say was "sorry man, that last guy moved the cone, our pumps are actually closed right now." And I would have said "right on, I'll go somewhere else, no big deal."
But no, he just said "there's a cone." repeatedly. Again, there was in fact no cone at the pump I had just pulled into. I moved no cones in the process of pulling up to the gas pump, but did redhead manager care? No way. He just kept talking down to me without ever even stating plainly that the pumps are closed. He just kept insisting that the cones are out. So he said, "here let's go have a look outside." We got about half way to my truck and he condescendingly said, "you have a great day." And turned around and started marching back inside. I will admit, I did yell "here, let me put this cone behind my truck so I can do your job for you."
At this point, I still hadn't even been told that the pumps were closed. All I knew, is that all but two of the pumps had cones in front of them.
So I walked back in, asked him if he had a phone number for a manager that I could have, he told me 1800CIRCLEK. I did try to explain why I thought the spot was open, but he just kept reiterating that cones were out and arguing with me as if I should have known somehow. His poor employees just stared uncomfortably at their computers, not acknowledging myself or their manager in any way shape or form, it seems like they were fairly used to it.
It's unfortunate, that spot is so convenient for gas, but that dude needs to not be there anymore, that was just the most randomly terrible experience ever. If you see "please see cashier" just go to another...
Read moreJust stopped for gas at this Circle K in my 2024 Toyota Corolla Hybrid. Gas was cheap, and I had half a tank, so I figured I'd top off.
Note, a 2024 Toyota Corolla Hybrid only has an 11.3 gallon tank.
The pump was running extremely slow, and the numbers kept rising. The pump finally kicked off after charging me for 12.23 gallons!
I went into the storefront to explain the situation and was told I was out of luck because there was no manager on site.
Apparently, I just paid for 5 gallons of gas that I didn't actually receive. Unacceptable! I asked for a receipt so I could complain to corporate, and was refused a receipt.
I asked them to at least caution tape the pump so others wouldn't run into the same problem that I had. They told me they would look into it, " eventually".

Read moreOut of stock on half the beer they sell, also purchased a vuse alto vape cartridge that didn't work straight out of the package. Took it back in and they would not replace, claiming once it leaves the store they cannot refund or replace. Even though other locations always have. If you use vuse you know about 1 in 10 have this issue. So if, hypothetically because I never will, if I were to buy another here I guess ill fire it up right there in the store so that I am not throwing 12 bucks away (or being ripped off for 12 bucks more like it). But then those old hens would be clucking like f more than usual. If a place sells a defective item and refuses to replace or refund that is stealing in my opinion and not good business. 7-11 across the street is worlds...
