So today my family picked one of our favorite place to eat here in Longmont being Qdoba. When I walked in I was greeted by the lovely girl swiping the floor. I got in line and was waiting for a father and son to order in front of me. The father asked the son what kind of meat are you getting and before the son had time to answer the lady wearing a light blue mask yells steak at the dad. Which she apologized for over and over again maybe because she realized how rude it sounded. Which it didn’t bug me to much because it wasn’t my order. However when I go up to order she is still working on their order. The manager (female) from the back comes out and says what can I get for you??? So I politely say a steak Barito please. As I am trying to ask her to put shredded steak on it as well she says what rice? Which I though was kinda rough but I told her white rice with extra rice please. Then she short and snippy asked me what kind of beans which I replied hold on please let me ask. As I am reading the order off my phone for my husband. The lady in the blue mask takes over and is now confused by my order... because she didn’t start it. So as I am repeating my self. Mean time the manager is going to start helping another customer which I hadn’t completed my order... so as I am finishing my husband burrito and the manager interrupts the lady in the blue mask and say are you getting any more entrées?! Which again I think is rough. However I didn’t say anything but yes a steak bowl please. Which she starts to make. Then she said are you getting beans on the burrito or no? Which at this point I am starting to have enough of her attitude especially coming from my manager. So I am assuming she can tell by the look I have on my face and the tone of my voice. So then the girl in the blue mask takes over and I don’t know if she is having a bad day too or if she is just feeding off her manager but she is short and to the point to which I didn’t mind because I wanted to leave now. The girl checking me out is really nice. However I was at the check out for five plus minutes because she couldn’t figure out the cash register. Then she asked the girl in the blue mask for the two cookies I had ordered the girl in the blue mask looked at her ignored her and turned around. After the five mins goes by and the cashier ask the girl in the blue mask for help she comes over and rudely says cash check! Which I felt bad for her to have to work like that. To top it all off none of them had name tags and the cook had cut off sleeves..They also were out of almost every drink in there soda machine... I am so disappointed in how I was treated and how the manager was acting. I would like a...
Read moreUpon arrival the burrito station was a scattered mess of meats and sides and clearly not wiped down in a long while, but we were hungry and chose to ignore that.
We ordered two burritos and the tortillas were heated up together (stacked) which led to one side being slightly over cooked and the other not enough. Not sure if this is standard practice but our burrito maker sure seemed to be in a big rush in spite of us being the only ones in line at that moment.
There wasn’t much care taken in the preparation and at the end, the burrito was so watery I was asked if I wanted it in a bowl instead of a tortilla. A quick pause to drain the beans and pico de gallo before putting them on the tortilla would have solved this simple problem.
Our second burrito was so wet and messy they had to replace the tortilla. All of this was disappointing but again we were hungry and continued to our table. The restaurant was very chilly but the worst problem was so were our burritos.
The manager insisted she had recently checked temperatures on the rice and beans and chicken but I’ve eaten a lot of QDOBA burritos and I can tell you both of these were close to room temperature. I realize salsa will cool things down a bit. I don’t think the R/B/C started out hot enough and the delay in wrapping up the tortilla also contributed to loss of heat. We were promptly refunded and left.
We have avoided this particular restaurant for a long time because on a previous breakfast visit the staff was in such a hurry the eggs were literally dripping out of the breakfast burrito because they were so undercooked.
This store still really needs better training and quality control. The staff was very polite...
Read moreI ordered a burrito for my lunch break, as I have done often. Upon biting into it, I noticed the texture to be off. I spit it out and saw the chicken was raw. I called the store with the hopes of just letting them know, so that they can make sure to check. I spoke with Orion(?) who claimed to be the manager. He off the bat told me I was wrong, and the line cook temp checked the meat all day, as he “saw him do it” and cameras could prove it. I let him know I wasn’t doubting any of that, but regardless, I was looking at raw meat in my burrito. He again told me I was wrong, extremely dismissive, and let me know he dealt with “someone like me” last week and they didn’t get anything out of it either. I asked at what point did I request anything, not even a refund. I wanted the number for someone over him, he said there was no one. I let him know I know there was, so he gave me the number for a “Cassie” who he claimed was the general manager. He did let me know she would agree with him, and I was wasting my time. The number he provided was the store number as when I called, it directed me back to him. I am completely appalled by not only this managers attitude, lack of customer service skills, also by the fact that a customer in good faith was trying to inform the store of a potential issue and I was treated so horribly...
