Chicken Salad Chick — Restaurant in Fishers

It’s chicken salad. Granted, it was pretty good chicken salad. There are several varieties of chicken salad, but it’s still chicken salad. They got the atmosphere right. It’s a fun bit of sunny, Southern charm. The clientele seemed happy and the staff was hard at work.

I had the spicy chicken salad, the Kickin’ Kay Lynne. Keep in mind that I am a pepper head, so my tolerance is high. There was a little kick in the back of the throat so I was a little impressed. And I also had the spicy pimento spread. I’m a sucker for pimento. It was less spicy than the chicken salad, but there was a hint in there for me.

The only reason I gave it a 3 is because one time they totally forgot to put chicken salad on my sandwich.. i came home plain and called they acted like I was lying until I brought it in and they couldn't believe it was dry as a bone. Now mind you I order in and still had to wait 15 mins it was going to be for my next days luch thankfully I checked it. After they realized their mistake they were laughing and cold and didn't offer any coupon or chips or something. Yes, I know they serve chicken salad, but the menu is weirdly inconsistent. Some options specifically mention having mayo and other ingredients, while others don't. But they include mayo in all their options. Other than that, the food was very good, if a little on the smaller side. Prices aren't unreasonable, and getting 2 options is totally doable if you're on the hungrier side. I had a sandwich and a side scoop of (I forget exactly which)chicken salad.
