Went to the location at 5PM but found the inside was closed. No signs explaining that it was or why. Went around to the drive thru and saw a sign saying cash only... Ok equipment failures happen. But I should have taken it as a sign and went somewhere else.
Ordering process was unnecessarily difficult. X sandwich with cheese. Combo. Baked potato instead of fries and Dr. Pepper for the drink. Had to repeat every item at least twice. I even said " Dr pepper for the drink" and was immediately asked "what do you want to drink?" After all that... "and a small chocolate frosty" "small frosty?" "yes, chocolate." "What flavor? Chocolate or vanilla?" #$&@!!
Pulled around, paid, got the food. Got the frosty. But no drink... Lady turned and went about her business taking the next customer's order. She seemed very confused when she noticed I was still there. I motioned drink, she opened the window and I said "Im waiting for my drink." She looked around for something before making my drink.
Got the drink and I could feel the cup was warm but passed it off as the cup being warm and hadn't cooled from the spray yet. Pulled away.
Went to actually eat the food... My sandwich did not seem fresh, the cheese I requested twice was not there. The potato was actually really good. But no spoon for the Frosty, and the soda was actually warm. No ice and warm like 5min old hot tea/coffee.
And to top it off, no receipt making it very difficult to complain to anyone about any of it. So, posting this one star review.
If this one time example is the norm (probably everyone that day got warm soda) this is still not the worst Wendy's I know of... But it is another I will be avoiding for the foreseeable future. (Good Wendy's is great but there are a lot of bad ones in the...
Read moreI’m not one to leave negative reviews, but wanted to put this PSA out there for people with allergies.
My three month old baby has a dairy allergy, and is breastfed. There are very few quick, easy places that I can safely eat at. Wendy’s is a favorite of ours because their allergen menu is so easy to navigate, and they don’t use soy (another allergy).
However, the past two times I have been given cheese on my plain hamburger patty. The first time was just a mistake. I completely understand that it is a fast food establishment, and that they aren’t going to listen always to my order…. It was fine, I just didn’t eat my food, and cut my losses.
THIS time, i was given my two plain hamburger patties, and after I took a bite, i noticed a tiny flake of cheese on the corner. As I looked closer, I discovered that they had literally just PEELED THE CHEESE OFF OF THE PATTY and then served it to me. I’m scared for how my baby will react, and am beyond disappointed in their integrity.
Long story short: This is not a good allergy-free option and I will not be making the mistake of eating at this...
Read moreMy total was $5.40 so I handed the lady a $10 bill & a $1.00 bill. She kept trying to hand me the $1 bill back. I told her politely that I would like a $5 bill back instead of 4- $1 bills, that was the reason for handing her $1 . She kept saying no and I told her to just put in the register that I gave her $11 and we will let technology do all the complicated math, so she takes my $11 puts it in the register and of course when it says she owes me $5.60 in change she gives me a dirty look and says "no no let me call my manager over". so now I'm embarrassed and wish I wouldn't even of said a word about anything. It's not that big of a deal. There are people behind me wanting to order but the cashier thinks I'm some type of magician from the future who can trick machines into giving me extra money back. All of this isnt a big deal if either one of them would of apologized for her mistake but nope the manager was pretty confused also 😤🤷♂️ I...
