IF I COULD GIVE IT 0 STARS I WOULD! My family and I love Jersey Mike's, especially my son, and yesterday we had to go to the Fitchburg location on 01/22 around 7:00 pm. When we got there the server rolled his eyes at us and he did the same thing when we started ordering, my son always orders number 17 without grilled onions and peppers and the rosemary Parmesan bread and he didn't like that my son ordered it without those two items. After we ordered we noticed him getting the wrong bread so we reinforced that we wanted the rosemary Parmesan bread. When we received our sandwich and paid my son took a bite and was disappointed to see that it had grilled onions and peppers, so we went back there and told him that my son ordered it without those 2 things and for the third time he rolled his eyes and said that "then he would remake the sandwich." Finally he handed us the sandwich made correctly with a scowl on his face, then my son took a bite and noticed that it was super poorly made and even had very little cheese. I asked him if he wanted to go back there and he said no, that he had lost the will to eat it and so we ended up throwing that sub away. I completely regret going there. We normally go to store #29027 in front of West Towne Mall and have never had any problems, but unfortunately yesterday we didn't have time and had to go to the Fitchburg store. The servers were rude from the moment we arrived and I could also clearly see that they didn't want to work! I feel like I threw my money away and I definitely won't want to go back to that location. I wouldn't know how it was for this most recent visit because when we arrived, we were first in the in person line, but there was apparently a lot of online orders they were working on. I get it, we can wait a little bit to be served while they finish what they're working on.
Then an employee finally came over and asked for our order, at this point there was like 6 other people in physical line behind us. She asked what we wanted, we told her, she ran to get bread. Then she went to get more bread... She laid out I think 9 sandwiches? She was still making online orders after taking out order. But now she was even making them directly in front of us. She finally started putting ingredients on the sandwiches after cutting all of the bread, provolone on like 7 of the sandwiches, them she dipped off to go do something somewhere else I guess? And we just left. We'd be standing for close to 15 minutes before we were asked our order, and then waited 5 more just for her to start making other people's sandwiches before ours again. So we just left. We didn't want to wait 10 more minutes just to get our sandwiches. I get that they were swamped, but some precedence should be put on in person orders I think. Pickups may be early, but they may be late too. In person orders are then and there. I feel like it makes sense to do them first or at least not make them wait for you to do a ton of your...
