Habit Burger & Grill — Restaurant in Flagstaff

Satisfying!! I came here on a busy Sunday afternoon with my coworker buddies. We’re all stagehands, burn a ton of calories in this heat. So when we break for lunch, we’re ravenous! We will usually go get wings or fried chicken. Someone suggested this place, and I thought to myself, hm. Idk much about it. I wouldn’t have picked it, but I didn’t want to be left out. I’d forgotten it even existed as an option. Well, I’m glad I came with them & tried it. I had the spicy crispy chicken sandwich (the promo sign said it’s only a seasonal summer item). One minor criticism is that the menu was unclear whether or not everything is al’a-carte or if there are combo options. Maybe I just didn’t notice the “fine print” but it should’ve been more obvious, cuz I was looking at it for awhile. Anyways, when I got to the cashier, she said a combo would make it $17some vs. just the sandwich was $9.99+ tax. Huge difference! I went cheap & stole some of my friend’s fries lol! it might seem like the meal takes a bit longer, but that’s how you know it’s fresh!! Plus they were super busy. As we waited in the drive thru line, I looked up habits website and read that one of the ingredients on the Santa Barbara Cobb salad was avacado. This was one of the biggest reasons why I chose this salad instead of a burger with avacado. Yet, when we I went to eat it, there wasn't a single avacado in my salad.

I also saw them add "ranch" to my order on the drive thru speaker screen, just as I requested, but there wasn't any ranch, even tho the drive thru gal said there was both ranch and ketchup in the bag.

Food was good, sure, but we are staying in a hotel, that's when I found out all of these error plus the biggest reason for this review... there was no fork for my salad! What do they expect me to eat with, my hands?

By the time we arrived to our hotel and found out each error, we tried to go back and they were already closed.

I never go to the Habit in Glendale / Phoenix area because it's always so expensive and we don't treat ourselves too often. But we splurged while we were on vacation, so I expected a little better than THIS. We spent nearly 50 bucks for our family's meal... yet received a McDonalds level of satisfaction. I understand mistakes are made, but these were just too many to...

The guys working tonight were super sketchy, shorted us 2 whole patties and some sauce, and we didn’t know this until we got home an hour away. They also did not text us when our order was ready like they said they would, we had to go to the counter and check ourselves. I did actually notice that there was only one ranch in the bag at the pickup so i said something, the cashier assured me all the ranch I paid for was there (I later found this to be untrue) and in order to get more I would need to pay $0.60 each extra so I took his word for it. This was clearly a mistake. They literally gave us an empty burger that was supposed to be a double but they put no meat whatsoever in it. They also shorted us at least 2 ranch which we paid for. The only thing they got right was our sides, which weren’t very enjoyable without the ranch or burgers that we paid for but did not receive.

I’ve heard from people who work here that drinking on the job is tolerated and even encouraged, and that seems to have demonstrated itself based on the quality of food and service tonight.

I’ve eaten here before and it was great, but whoever was cooking/bagging tonight needs to be fired to be honest....
