So delighted that there’s a vegan place like this available to locals now. A friend who came the night before recommended to me since she knows I’m veg and her experience was so lovely. I (stupidly) didn’t check their hours before heading over and arrived 30 mins prior to open. I realized as I walked up and started to walk away but a young man opened the door and said they’d be happy to serve me early. Of course, they wouldn’t always be able to do this, to even offer was SO kind. I asked multiple times if he was sure because I work in the business and didn’t want to put them in a bad spot getting set up for the day. He, again, let me know he’d be happy to get me whatever I’d like. I ordered buffalo wings; mango chili roll, and a Thai tea. Ordered to go to allow them to finish setting up. Everything was absolutely phenomenal. Wings were best I’ve ever had and sushi was flavorful and fresh. Thai tea was perfectly balanced. So happy with everything but want to emphasize how lovely it was to go somewhere that was so happy to serve me and didn’t treat the situation of me accidentally showing up early as an inconvenience at all. Best customer service I’ve seen in some time. Can’t wait to try everything on the menu. First impressions are lasting impressions and y’all knocked it out of the park. This is going to be my new weekly spot. Thank you SO much. Wishing y’all endless success...
Read moreThis place is an abomination. My partner and I both ordered sushi and it was very apparent that it was not made fresh and that both of our rolls were made from the same base roll which didn't even come close to matching what was on the menu. There was only avocado and cucumber inside both rolls, and the avocado was old. My partner ended up with that just covered in what appeared to be olive oil and zaatar, but we'll never know. Mine was supposed to have mushrooms and fried shrimp etc with the usual chili mayo and sweet soy you see on the menu. The picture is what I got. Appears to just be slices of oyster mushroom stem with sweet soy. On top of this, they use disposable plastic for everything even if you dine-in. Don't waste your money, go to Red Curry Vegan Kitchen downtown or some other place with...
Read moreWe really wanted this place to be good - the concept sounded great and we were excited to try it. We walked into an empty restaurant and waited around 5 minutes for someone to come out from the kitchen. I figured it was okay since they'd just opened.
We ordered two drinks, two meals, and sushi as an appetizer. They told us the sushi would take too long to make. About 10 minutes later, we got the first dish, but our drinks never showed up. Then came my mushroom tofu soup... it was scalding hot and I burned my tongue so badly I still can't taste anything properly. Plus, there wasn't even any tofu in it.
We ended up canceling the drinks since they never arrived, even by the time the second dish came out. Really hoping they work out the kinks because the menu...
