Conveniently located near the Flagstaff downtown library which in winter has a fireplace but not for what I assumed would be angry book burning. Watch where you kerplunk as people do walk their dogs in this park and it's rude to sit unannounced in a poodle, nice picnicking with the occasional demon Legion bar b que across the street where nonconsensual rib sampling may occur, and do beware of open containers as the Flag PD is a stoned throwed awayed. Good used gear store nearby and about thirty seven craft breweries where at 7000 ft means rooms spins and uber barfing and trembling...

The best park in the whole world! If I was going to get grass stands on my shorts, this is the place to do it!! 😉 There's no toys or playground or bathroom or drinking fountain—but if you can overlook all of that, this is the hacky sack park of the world. I would probably play soccer here too. I would walk my dog on a leash, and when no one was looking I would let my dog off the leash once in awhile. 🤫 Don't tell. I'd probably even throw a frisbee in this park. Last week, I saw a dude throwing a boomerang 🪃 the other day, which I thought was REALLY AWESOME cuz I've never seen that...

I can say that if you want to just chill outside you can do that here no questions asked. I would also add that the plants and memorial here are very beautiful. A plus is you can go to the library, checkout a book, and start reading outside. If your into that. However it has two minor problems that can be fixed. 1- the homeless can be at the park on rare occasions so just watch out. 2- If you want to go to a park at night don't go here as there is no lighting in the park just around it. If these two problems are addressed in the future this place can receive 5...

The grass is nice and green here as there's a huge sprawling lawn. Lots of homeless were enjoying this park while sprawled out sleeping and relaxing. They could use some picnic tables and more seating. There are no fenced dog areas. My Dogs did enjoy the well watered thick lawn but we didn't stay long. Their parking cop was out giving tickets to vehicles on the side street. Make sure you only park during the times they specify on their signs, with a permit when required and are close enough to the curb. Looks like their Parking Cop is a good money maker for the city.

I was driving by and saw they were hosting the Hullabaloo! I had to stop by! It was really fun! There was live music, local vendors, facepainting, bouncy houses for the kids, all kinds of foods, drinks, and a few of the breweries had booths, they had some of the local kids singing, and it was very family friendly. I got some awesome stickers, pins, and a t-shirt out of it. 🥰😇😁 it is really awesome seeing a community come together like that.
