I’ve never had issues with this McDonald’s in the past, but lately some employees and managers don’t seem to be upholding the same level of quality and customer service.
For example, when I place an order through the app for drive-thru pickup and need to make a simple adjustment that the app doesn’t allow, I’ve been told it can’t be done because the order was placed in-app. This doesn’t make sense since the meal isn’t prepared until after the code is given.
Another issue is with the toy promotions. Customers are often told they can’t purchase certain toys unless they buy a full kids’ meal. Even after buying a kids’ meal, if you ask to exchange the unopened toy for one you don’t already have, they refuse. If you ask them to check for a specific box number, they also say no and insist it’s the only one available—even when it’s clear that other children dining in have different toys.
I want to be clear: not all employees here act this way. However, the managers especially seem to get upset when these questions are asked, and they often shut customers down or have other employees refuse...

When I noticed the discrepancy and pointed it out to the manager, they admitted outright that this was done intentionally as a way to adjust the price. I hadn’t ordered the iced tea, yet I was expected to pay for it. This felt like a dishonest and unfair practice, especially coming from such a well-known chain that prides itself on transparency and customer satisfaction. Read moreOn a not-so-busy afternoon, it took almost 30 minutes to get 3 beverages. I walked in and ordered 2 frozen drinks and a coffee (nothing else). One of the frozen drinks was the wrong flavor. I told the worker. She checked my receipt (like I was lying) and took the drink back then continued with other orders. I thought she was coming back with the correct flavor. Nope…she turned her back and acted like I wasn’t there. Finally, I called over the manager who got me the frozen drink which apparently was just sitting on a back counter since it was a bit melted. He made a slightly angry gesture at the worker, but she ignored him too. What a waste of time! Go to Clinton if you want good service at a McDonald’s. Or just go to Chick-Fil- A (#1 fast...
