Cicis Pizza — Restaurant in Florence

DISGUSTED I got a salad... And i had to pick around the wilted lettuce.. My tomatoes were frozen.. The black olives i couldnt even scoop out bc they were frozen to the container... My crutons were very stale.... The pizzas on the bar were barely even warm. There was no red onions or peppers out for the salad. The brownies were completely not cooked long enough at all... Brownies arent suppose to bend and mold to your fingers while your trying to take a bite... The cinnamon rolls were crispy on the bottom and doughy on the top. The sweet tea container was emptied so i asked a worker if they had anymore. So she had someone make some... I waited 20 minutes for them to bring the tea out. And it tasted like there was no sugar in it at all. I told a worker that my tomatos was frozen and tried to squeeze the tomato in front of him and he made a joke and told me it wouldnt hurt me to just eat it. I use to love this place. The worker put two chairs next to my booth while i was eating to where i had to move them to get out... He stated that there blocking off that sections so its easier to clean so they can get out of there at a good time (it was 8pm) But instead of asking us to move or waiting until we were done he put chairs next to me.. Then i go to play a game and come back and theres more chairs blocking ... Everybody else standing around on there phones.. Doing nothing.. General manager was off in wonderland. Then we were waiting to put our personal pizza order in and there was absolutely NOBODY ANYWHERE! like they all went outside for a smoke break. The owner of this location should be completely ashamed of themselves. And the manager should not be a manager!! Horrible horrible.. Absolutely horrible. I have no idea whats happening and why its getting worse every time i go here. But i dont plan on spending any more of my money there. And i would advise anyone reading this to NOT waste your money there either....

How can I find out who owns this franchise? We had the absolute worst experience there Friday evening. I don't even like Cici's so my expectations were low and they still managed to blow my mind. We got there at 6pm Friday evening. It was me, my adult sister, and 3 year old neice. We paid and rounded the corner to see that there wasn't a single pizza on the bar. That was fine, we weren't in a hurry. So I make our drinks.. No lids.. Grab our napkins and forks and go to find a table. There is older black lady in the lobby area cleaning the tables. The lady watches us take our stuff to the table. I set down our 3 full drinks, clean napkins, and unopened forks. The moment I turned my back to head to the bar she immediately snatches it all up and throws it away. I turn around and say something to her and she just goes "sorry" and shrugs.. Walking off. So I go to the counter and tell the girl that I paid what the lady had done and ask if we can have more cups as we didn't get to take one sip of our drinks. She stares at me, saying nothing, for several seconds before she goes and asks someone else if that's OK. Which I found ridiculous. We didn't have drinks that we paid for and it was an employees fault. So we finally get some pizza and I eat. And we go to let my neice play games, the ENTIRE reason she wanted to go to Cici's... Only to find that the machine you purchase the game card from was down. So my sister asked the cashier for change so she could at least get some little toys out of the quarter machines.. Those eat her quarters. So now with a very upset toddler.. I go to use the restroom before we leave... Every single stall the toilets were full of paper and feces. Just a terrible experience. Will never ever step foot in there again. I'd be embarrassed to work there let alone manage or...

Our last few visits have been more and more disappointing. This is my husband's favorite place. He loves pizza and I eat the salad bar because pizza upsets my stomach, but I love the salad bar. We got there and the salad bar was broken down. Only a few items were there, all the lids were off the salad dressing containers and there were no tongs. We assumed they got hit hard and he ate and I waited for the salad bar. He was finished eating and the salad bar hadn't been touched. There were maybe 10 people eating. They were pounding out pizzas, though so, again, we assumed they had a rush so we didn't complain. I just got a salad on the way home. No big deal. Next time we went on a Monday (8/12) due to the coupon they were offering for $4.99+drink+tax. The restaurant was really concerningly untidy, even for Cici's. Let's be real, we know what to expect - kids, pizza, arcade games - we're realistic, but it was bad. The bathrooms, the bar, the floors, the tables. The salad bar was skimpy but we've worked food service and honestly we have low expectations. You don't go to McDonald's and expect a steakhouse burger. However, the past I couldn't overlook was taking a bite of broccoli that was wet and tasted like soap. Not a great experience. Pretty freaking gross. The quality is just not even worth the "value" anymore. It seemed to have picked up for a while? - I'm wondering if someone came in from corporate temporarily or something because the staff seemed to completely change over night and there was a very enthusiastic manager that suddenly appeared. We had frequented often and customer service was getting much better, it was cleaner, and the food quality was good. Suddenly she disappeared and it's just getting so so bad. It makes me sad. We're big kids and hubby loves his...
