Milla's Place — Restaurant in Florence

I'm sitting in my car typing this review after enjoying a REALLY nice breakfast at Milla's Place. WOW!! 100% Genuine AMERICANA ACTUALLY STILL LIVES!!

This place is the REAL DEAL for great American food, great American service, and the overall perfect American dining experience!!

The people were so friendly, the food was excellent and reasonably priced. The atmosphere was really amazing. It is a beautiful sunny morning here in Florence Alabama (Oct 9th 2024) and they had white fabric blinds blocking the morning sunlight which reduced the sun's intensity but also filled the entire restaurant with the perfect diffuse lighting ambiance. It is an older building tucked into a little side street and the whole dining experience was just perfect!

I had two overeasy eggs, sausage patties, biscuits and gravy, with sides of cheesy grits and hashbrown casserole. The cheesy grits and hashbrown casserole were especially EXCELLENT!! Washed it all down with some delicious cold sweet tea with lemon.

Totally STUFFED.... AND LOVIN IT!

What a phenomenal GEM of a restaurant! Why would ANYONE go to a fast food place when you can go to...

Food is absolutely delicious 🤤, I loved it 😍. Soul food that is reasonably priced and also taste fire 🔥 The staff is amazing as well , super friendly and made me feel welcome 🤗, I really appreciate the kindness and hospitality I felt, I will definitely be back. Ok so I added to this review say I came back this morning and when I say their breakfast is the bomb !!! It is amazing and cooked to perfection. The same young lady was there that invited me to try breakfast and I am so happy I did. She is so sweet /kind , yesterday I had a really bad day with a lot going on with my mom in the hospital, but her smile and welcoming attitude made my day so much better. May GOD continue to bless your business...

I can't say enough great things about this place. From the start, our waitress was incredible—hands down the best service I've had in years. She made us feel like family.

And then there’s the food! I travel all over North Alabama and eat at a lot of meat-and-threes, and more often than not, I end the day disappointed. But not today. Every single dish was exceptional—so good that not only would my mom be proud, but even my grandmother would have been happy to serve it.
