Moe's Southwest Grill — Restaurant in Florham Park

Came on a Sunday afternoon and only saw one employee. Tried hard and was very nice, but service was slow due to the understaffing. The coke freestyle machine was either out of Coke, or was damaged and simply not dispensing regular coke. Location was out of carnitas and salsas were running low.

Food was okay - quality was in-between a taco Bell and a Chipotle. Salsa bar was okay too, but the hot salsas had a sweetness to them, which could be a positive or negative, depending on your tastes. Personally, I prefer Baja Fresh's salsa bar, but there's none of those around anymore.

Despite only having one crew member working, restaurant was generally clean. Some recently vacated tables needed wiping down, but trash cans were not overflowing, not was there an inordinate amount of waste on the floor or on tables.

It wasn't a terrible experience and I'd probably give the place another shot, maybe on a busier day. Bear in mind that the rating here was heavily affected by the low staffing level (only 1 employee), and may not be indicative of a...

I'm not for bashing restaurants but what an embarrassed. The situation is, The steak bin was empty, first off I'm not a manager but it doesn't seem like a hard concept to have the steak cooked in advance so you don't have to wait on it, but to make matters worse the server decides to grab the scraps out of the empty bin and put them on my nachos. She then proceeded down the line did he next food choice, I looked at her she looked at me she knew it was not enough steak so when I asked she then said you want extra steak insinuating I'm going to get charged instead of arguing I just kept going on. I then had to wait while my nachos got soggy for the extra steak. What a shame, is what it comes down to, It may sound greedy but it was more embarrassing to have to ask for a little extra steak... Cant follow directions and inconsistent.They cannot follow directions. Ordered dressing on side for HW bowl and it was drowned in dressing. The hard shell tacos were wrapped individually in aluminum foil, were soggy and could not even be picked up. I had to eat the contents with a fork. The bowls had so little meat in them-my one soggy taco had more meat than the 2 bowls we ordered combined. This is the 5th time we've ordered from Moe's and only 1 order was correct. I called to speak to the manager who said she would call me back in 3-5 minutes. That was 25 minutes ago. A real shame they can't figure out how to do simple things correctly .I tried to call the store manager several times and now they don't answer the phone.
