Ugh, extremely disappointed. I got ripped off with the chicharron de calamari $20 for 15 pieces of tiny overcooked calamari—no sides. This plate should be at the most $10 and that’s a stretch for the quality of the food. That dish in an authentic Peruvian restaurant would be the same price with a side and abundant calamari—- please remove or fix that dish don’t scam your customers like that. The chicharron de pescado was a better portion but same or very similar batter to the calamari but saltier— however the price was more reasonable. The tostones were the best part of my order the yuca smaller of what im used to and wasn’t crunchy. The customer service was great, the ladies at the location are very nice and approachable but the food unfortunately unnecessarily bad. I won’t return.

I ordered through Uber to pick up not delivery, I was there when the order was ready, this had no effect on the quality of your product. Also, I know my Peruvian food which I have ordered to deliver multiple times from other locations like bongo’s restaurant and it never arrived damage or changed its quality, they are actually excellent and their food is top notch. If paid $2-$3 more through uber, still not worth $18-20 dollars. $ 10 dollars max. Unfortunate when a businesses don’t take accountability for their products. Even more so now, I will definitely not return and I advise others to not get this meal if...
Read moreI am visiting from Charleston South Carolina - I was so excited to eat great food from Peru but it turned out to be an utter disappointment I ordered causa rellena - lomo saltado and ceviche mixto.
The causa rellena came first and the flavor was flat. Like something was missing. I ate it because I was hungry.
Then the lomo saltado came- Peruvians don't make the lomo with red peppera ( I get that there are multiple ways to make it - but this wasn't it.)
Then my ceviche mixto came - the ceviche tasted like it was it was in the freezer for several days. No flavor, no cilantro, and whatever fusion you are trying to do isn't working. I had to push my plate away and ate the white rice from my friends plate.
I did say something to the server, who was quite lovely, quietly since there was only one other table next to me that just sat down. I didn't want to ruin their experience. She offered to get me something else, but I didn't want to chance another let down. (don't worry though, they still charged for all of the food, even after I told them it wasn't edible.)
I am Peruvian and take great pride in our cuisine… I hope this constructive criticism helps to make someone else’s experience better at...
Read moreI recently dined at Al Toque Perurrican Fusion, and it was an absolute delight! This family-owned gem, blending Peruvian and Puerto Rican flavors, offers an unforgettable culinary experience. The staff is incredibly friendly, greeting you with warm smiles and attentive service that makes you feel right at home. From the moment I walked in, their enthusiasm and genuine care elevated the entire visit. The menu is a vibrant showcase of Latin cuisine. I tried the shrimp mofongo, which was bursting with flavor, perfectly crispy on the outside, and paired with a rich, savory sauce. The ceviche was refreshingly zesty, with fresh shrimp and octopus that tasted like they were straight from the sea. Portions are generous, and the prices are reasonable, making every bite feel like a steal. The lively atmosphere, accented by upbeat music, adds to the welcoming vibe, perfect for a fun night out with friends or family. Whether you’re a fan of Peruvian classics or Puerto Rican staples, Al Toque delivers authentic, scratch-made dishes with a fusion twist. Highly recommend stopping by for a meal that’s as heartwarming as the staff.
