Absolutely will NEVER eating here again! I ordered the drink bucket (blue one), and it tasted like I was drinking a bottle of syrup. The waitress later told me the drink is 3oz of alcohol and 29 oz of syrup! Absolutely disgusting! Our side salads took so long to come out a line cook came out and asked if we wanted our main course or if we wanted to wait. 30 minutes just to get salads! At that point, just bring us our food. All of it was wrong. We had the wrong sides with both of our meals. My spouses steak was way under cooked, and my shrimp was overcooked. I couldn't even eat my food because I started to feel extremely sick after eating my salad and drinking maybe 25% of my drink. Not a manager insite! I should have left after we stood at the doorway for 10 minutes waiting to get seated. While we stood there waiting, three waitresses made eye contact with us and said nothing. The sign on the door said they could be out of items due to the hurricane, so we stayed because, well, they could be short staffed due to the hurricane, give them some grace. Nope, we should have just left! The bar waitress is who seated and waited on us. Back to the horrible food experience. I got a box for my entire meal as I was to the point of vomiting and needed to leave asap! I had to leave my spouse to finish their dinner alone while I went to the car. While in the car, thank God I had walmart items in the back seat so I could use a bag, I started vomiting. 🤢 🤮 My spouse comes out to find me a mess. 😞 We drive 10 minutes to our hotel; and while checking in, I have to run to the bathroom because yup, puking again! We get into our room, and my spouse is in the bathroom, but they are well, the opposite of puking 🚽. Later in the night, I attempted to eat my leftovers. My chicken was charcoal on the outside and pink as watermelon on the inside!! 😲 🫨 I threw the entire meal away! I should have taken photos, but the site of it made me nauseous again. Not a clue who was in the kitchen last might 10.12. 24 between 7pm and 8pm, but they all need to be retrained or fired. Between the unprofessionalism of the wait staff (a bartender waiting on patrons with a bottle of rum under her arm) to the kitchen serving undercooked food, corporate needs to do an overhaul with the staff This location needs new night management as well. Not once did we see the manager come around and mingle with the patrons or jump in to help the drowning wait staff.

Read moreWent here to finish out our day with a meal before bed, and was sadly disappointed with everything about our visit. First the host took about 15 minutes to even come help the guests before us. After being seated our server met us with disinterest (suspect she may not have been on earth). Our drinks took longer to receive than the Buccaneers winning a super bowl. When we got our drinks 1 was wrong and the other the bartender (who looked as though he ate some magical mushrooms) had to ask us about. Our appetizers were ok, however our entrees came almost an hour and a half after we ordered, was not completely accurate, or (in my opinion) up to food safety standards (as I felt very nauseous not long after eating. It was so bad that I couldn't even finish my plate (and I always finish my food). After all that the server tried to charge us for sides and drinks we didn't get to enjoy (which I suspect was intentional). After having such a horrible experience the manager was asked for and we explained our situation to him. Instead of taking responsibility for his employees, he proceeded to get a menu to prove us wrong (about the sides that we didn't see the fine print for on the menu) and telling us he'll fix the mistakes on the receipt (which took 3 or 4 times to fix. Lost count to be honest). I don't care about getting free food as I wasn't even paying (was just out with my family having fun, or so we thought). I'm just hoping that this review is read as a warning for others about the service at this particular Applebee's. Overall I'd give this establishment a 0.00000001 🌟 out of 1.5 million 🌟. Great spot if you want to deal with servers who don't care about there guests, bartenders who started bartending 5 minutes ago, and managers who would rather prove you wrong than actually fix your issues. Great show,...
Read moreAs many of you who follow me knows, Guest or Customer Service is paramount to a successful Business Experience. Applebee used to be the place to go. With top notch food, service and atmosphere. Their fall from grace has been long and bitter. This location's sad performance is reflective of this fall. When we entered, despite the parking lot being nearly full, the location was nearly dead. Three tl four tables occupied and one person at the bar.
This didn’t stop our server from taking his sweet time to get to our table and take our drink order, nor take his time to deliver said drinks. Now, he was pleasant and respectful, however he was slow with zero reason for it.
Food quality was sub-par. Our endless boneless chicken was over cooked, and under seasoned (forcing us to ask for extra dipping souce, which too was slow to arrive). You would figure with the restaurant being slow, the kitchen would be able to keep up. Sadly this wasn't the case. Despite having ordered our second round when our first round of wings hit the table, there was still a delay.
The biggest problem was the self inflicted mistakes. Failing to bring out the entire dish (all three wing orders were missing the coleslaw). And when they did arrive, one coleslaw was delivered to the wrong person (which is just lazy IMHO). And the $2.99 House Margaretas ended up being $8.99 'People’s Margaretas' (what? I KNOW?!)
You can always tell what to expect by the general appearance. Do they take pride in their appearance? This will be my final remarks here. The appearance of the restaurant (not just is it clean, but is it upkept), the employees and even the management team all matter!
I won't write Applebee's off just yet. That said, the ship is sinking, and they need to step up and take action. Start small, general service...
