Dippin' Dots — Restaurant in Florida

Finally a safe and nice place to walk into. My husband and I make a trip every year to Destin. We love the Dippin Dot products! However, the last few years I felt very uncomfortable even going into the establishment! The 2 guys that worked there were so rude and hateful! The comments made were sexiest and very uncalled for! My first thought was…how do they let these creeps work here knowing kids enjoy dippin dots! So we just arrived in Destin 2 days ago! Last night my husband said “Let’s go get some dippin dots”…My reply was “Then you’re going in with me because that older man and the other one make me very uncomfortable! Well much to my surprise I was greeted by the sweetest lady ever, Patricia! I thanked her for being so kind and how much welcoming to walk in now! The dots are wonderful as always….but please keep friendly staff and don’t have those men back that shouldn’t be working with the public anywhere! Kudos to sweet Patricia for being so...

The place was supposed to open at 12:00 but did not open until 12:15 literally watched the lady unlock the doors and turn on the sign. Then as we entered she did not greet us. She continued to put out the tables and chairs as my kids and I talked about our flavors. Finally when she was done putting our table and chairs she walked over and said what can I get ya. We kindly said just a minute and she rolled her eyes and grunted as she walked to the register. At that time she proceeded to count her money and get her register ready (should have already been done before open). Then when were were ready she rolled her eyes again while my son tried to decide what he wanted. And again after he changed his mind and i kindly asked her can we please change it.

She was the most rude disrespectful slow moving employee I have ever come across and we are not even from here. No sense of customer service to adults or kids. I received better service in NYC...

I never write reviews but I was pretty upset tonight. We waited all day for our after dinner dessert at our favorite, dippin dots. we checked the hours this morning to ensure we could schedule our day correctly strictly for dippin dots. google, the website and the hours on the door show 9pm closing on Sunday. We got there at 8:10 and see the worker run and hide in the back. We walked to the doors, pulled both and both were locked. We waited in the parking lot for about 10 minutes to see if she would come back out but she stayed hidden in the back. I know this is such a silly thing to complain about but we were really looking forward to this. This is the last night of our anniversary trip and we saved this treat for our last day. We don’t have any dippin dots within 200 miles from where we’re from so we were stoked to see one here. I’m sure the store is great and the ice cream is amazing. Unfortunately we weren’t able to...
