Worst restaurant experience of my life.

Today I have to say my family and I really were subject to some of the most deplorable behavior by a management staff that ever encountered in my life. I have never heard of a gm invervening on a discussion between a table and poorly trained manager. I unfortunately did not get their names, but the first man who approached the table did so with an attitude, negative tone and was unapologetic for the fact that that while our server was sweet, she was clearly stretched far too thin and was unsupported in her role. The beers took forever 5-10 mins depending on the round. I was brought out two sprites at once because she the fries we asked for did not come out. The beers were warm when they did arrive. and probably sat at the bar for a while blue moons with no garnish. I highly recommend that ticket times for the duration of our meal should be review to corroborate that the times were likely unacceptable by your own corporate standards. What food I saw hit the table was what we term "dead" in this industry. The fish and chips for one came out with the sides cold. The butter remained solid because the baked potato was so undercooked and was most definitely in the "danger zone" we are trained about in responsible vendor food handling certification and a glaring health code violation. If an inspector had stuck a thermometer in that baker, it would have been a violation. The fries were ordered crispy and came out cold soggy. There was no lemon wedge and no tartar sauce. When we asked for a manager for these and other glaring mistakes and errors we were basically spoken down to like if there was an excuse for some of this behavior. He came back with fries and the blue moon and said they were short staffed and they are doing their best with a contrite and frustrated. When I as a former food service employee pointed these things out I got an attitude from the general manager a man wearing a blue denim shirt. He basically began to kick me out of the restaurant. I was not rude, I did not use profanity, insult anyone, call anyone names but was being thrown out! I rarely complain or send food back but the bottom line is opening for business should not come at the cost of guest experience. Had I been a secret shopper jobs would have been lost and write ups would have been issued! He, (general manager) like his poorly trained predecessor knew NOTHING about the myriad problems at the table and when I said "I didn't do anything" and questioned "what did I do?" To be told to leave He responded "I don't care I'm going to stand up for my manager" I dutifuly captured the end of the incident on film in which you can hear the GM remind us of how we were "warned" of them being understaffed. And clearly acknowledged that we are regular customers. I understand that they were short staffed however I did not realize that was a disclaimer and excuse for a lack in service. This was our first time eating out since the occurrence of hurricane Irma and I was sadly let down by the breakdown in the flow of the establishment. I am so disappointed with the disrespectful and I do have video that I will be posting to my social media accounts. I am horrified that the restaurant was opened without being ready. We still tipped Natalie as it was clear that the poor girl was left hanging to dry. Teamwork and the running of any business involves communication which was sorely absent. In what way should I have been told to leave when I only made clear that this level of service wasn't bad, it was unacceptable. While the meal was comped after what became an embarrassing situation for the managers, that does not make up for the treatment that I received nor the dangerously cold meal my uncle was expected to eat. He is diabetic and needed to eat to maintain his blood sugar. I hope that the staff at the duffys can get their...

9/17/25- 4:30pm- An enjoyable early dinner after my CPR recertification class next to Duffy’s. I sat at the bar and was greeted warmly by Nicole. A very attentive and efficient bartender. I ordered my Pinot Grigio and reviewed the menu. Lots of new choices.. trying to make up my mind.. I ordered the Fire Shrimp Triple Tacos. They came out quickly and they were delicious! They do have a bit of a kick to them but they were very good. There are so many TV’s you will definitely find something that you enjoy watching! I love Baseball ⚾️ , Golf ⛳️ and Football! 🏈 It’s a friendly neighborhood atmosphere, which I appreciate as a widow eating alone. Next time I will try the double smash burger. It looked delicious! Actually everything I’ve ever had was delicious! I was too full for dessert but I highly recommend their Key Lime Pie! I’ve had it in the past and it was delicious! I highly recommend Duffy’s ! Saturday 12/28/24 - 11:30am Wow! A wonderful experience! Thank you so much! An emotional family reunion - first time seeing my 1/2 sister after her husband’s passing.. she was driving up from visiting family in Miami to her home in The Villages . Stopped for a quick visit and lunch in WPB to see me… The ladies were very patient and respectful as I waited almost an hour and we stayed there a few hours talking, eating and drinking! Our server was Definitely 5 Stars! She gave us the time to catch up.. with tears and laughter.. and took great pictures of us. She was delightful! I ordered my glass of Pinot Grigio and the Classic French Onion Soup and she had the bowl of clam chowder. Both were delicious! Came out piping hot! We each enjoyed a Key lime pie ! Fabulous! A fun family ambiance! Very energetic vibe! Our server had a name tag that said Nicole but my receipt said Courtney C.. I want to ensure she knows how much we appreciate her! A Hard worker with a smile! The hostess was wonderful too! Truly a great experience! Thank you! I...

Thank you! I highly recommend!
