Empire Bagel Factory — Restaurant in Florida

Never before has it been so easy for me to give a rating. This is EASILY BY FAR the worst bagel shop I have ever been to. The prices are outrageous (15 dollars for a bagel and coffee....what the hell?) , the food is awful, bagels not fresh, and service is lacking, to say the least. I should have known when I pulled up and there was not a soul in the lot. The bagels are on par with Thomas' that you get from Walmart. Not horrible but if I wanted Walmart bagels I'd go to Walmart and pay 1/10 the price.

DO NOT COME HERE EXPECTING A FRESH EGG SANDWICH! They are all disgusting and microwaved from the eggs to the bacon, to the cheese. Frankly I can't believe this place is even in business because they are a complete mockery of what a bagel shop should be.

Save the annoyance....drive the 7 minutes to Stuff a Bagel on Daniels , where they do it RIGHT, EVERYTIME. Empire Bagel should close and issue an apology to the community. Pathetic.

UPDATE: Obviously the owners do not care at all about the terrible service and food being provided at their establishment. Tons of 1 star reviews and not ONCE has the owner even offered an apology.... explanation...nothing. Never has a business deserved to shut down more than this one....

Never in my life will I EVER step foot in this place again! I walk in with my blk boyfriend and the lady behind the counter gave the most disgusting look to us. While walking in she was so happy speaking with a white man in which their conversation completely stopped as she stared us down followed by a “What you want!” Upon speaking to us with such disgust and disrespect another White man came walking from the back area with the same disgusting look on his face looked my boyfriend and I dead in the face turned around and walked back to where he appeared from. As I placed our order the woman rolled her eyes, huffed, and puffed as if she had issues with taking our order. When finished she again rolled her eyes, turned and said “I can’t believe one of our kind is with a jungle bunny!” I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO DISRESPECTED AND APPALLED! IM A MIXED WOMAN WAS RAISED BY MY BLK FATHER! HAD I NOT BEEN RAISED BY MY BLK FATHER YOU LADY WOULD HAVE MADE HISTORY AND I WOULD HAVE BEEN ON THE 7PM NEWS TONIGHT! I WILL ABSOLUTELY BE LETTING THE ENTIRE SWFL KNOW OF THIS DISGUSTING PLACE AND ITS CHOOSING OF THE HELP! EWWW NEVER...

I walked in to the shop and was immediately worried because it was in a corporate plaza. I was Greeted by two women who seemed genuinely happy to help. Danny and Jordan kept me entertained and were very friendly... almost too friendly 😆. Just kidding they were great. They ensured me that the bagel was going to be the best bagel I've ever had. I'm used to the bagels in jersey and NY so I was skeptical.

I ordered a pork roll, bacon, egg, and cheese along with an iced coffee. I left feeling good about my sandwich and the coffee had coffee ice cubes which was amazing. I started to eat the sandwich and wasn't too impressed (I think I put too much on it) but then I finally tasted the bagel. It was delicious. The bagel was airy and flavorful. Honestly, great breakfast spot to visit. The humans there were awesome and the food...
