I called for take-out Tuesday (8/4) from your Countryside location. We enjoyed the Countryside location before moving to the close to the old Westchase location and ate at Westchase almost weekly until it closed, once we started going there we couldn’t even go to the Countryside one because the food tasted so much better at Westchase and I really enjoyed the outstanding service. We were so upset when it closed. We moved back this way to Countryside and have ordered a handful of times since, but the dill-feta sauce just never seemed as flavorful and if I had a special request like no tomatoes it is almost alway ignored. Last Tuesday we phoned in an order at 8:40 which I understand it was late and the restaurant was close to closing, but when I arrived to pick up my food there were at least 4 customers waiting to order as well as picking up like me. I got there at 8:55 because I have worked in restaurants and understand they want to get out of there. I ordered a gyro with feta fries and extra sauce (I don’t mind paying extra, the sauce is my favorite) and a pizza niko, no tomatoes also with feta fries and extra sauce. I checked my order when I left, but it was dark outside and I didn’t notice the sauce wasn’t there. My pizza was under cooked and almost all of it stuck to the box and ripped apart. Under the cheese was more tomatoes then I have ever seen on this pizza and they were chopped up very small there was no way to pick them off. My husband’s gyro had no sauce on it and there was no sauce at all for the fries when we requested extra. One of the fries had barely any cheese at all on it and the other order was more than double the amount of fries I had. I have worked in restaurants for a long time and understand most of the time and rarely complain, but we spent $25 and were not happy with any of our order at all. We appreciated that when we called, that someone answered the phone even though they were closed, but of course there was no way to rectify the food or refund because it was so late. We were told someone would give us a call the next day or two, but now over a week later have heard nothing. Like I said I rarely complain and have never asked for my money back with a meal, but our food was disappointing to the point we ended up throwing most away. ☆Update decided to give this place another try! The restaurant looked clean and well maintained the staff was really attentive, food came out fast, tasted ok except for the Negative which is a big thing, the entire meal was doused in so much Sauce! So much you couldn't even see the meat! We ordered to gyro platters, Greek nachos. The Gyros were absolutely 💯 drenched it ruined the meal soggy disgusting mess.Also the nachos as well. As a Greek chef and foody please rain your chef in. He took a hot fresh meal and absolutely 💯 ruined it. The entire meal was white with sauce. ☆UPDATE I spoke to the Manager that White Sauce is just Mayonnaise!🤮 Ridiculous they are trying to pass this off as "Greek" there is nothing authentic about this food. Its a Glorified Greek version of Taco Bell! We didn't even eat half of the meal I literally had to pick out the meat. Please stop doing this. Every element of the meal was white. What a waste of a decent meal. Bad chef! My husband and I both got sick from so much sauce. We can never eat here again. 2 days later still sick!

My last visit I would have given 5☆ food was good but more issues. 1.Gyro meat was cut incorrectly in massive thick chunks. Not authentic plus it messes with the flavor. Rice Bowls only with Brown rice! No pilaf not authentic Greek! I'm Greek and I have been coming here for years. Brown rice is catering to a certain crowd let them go to a hipster bowl place. Greek restaurants always offer Rice pilaf and yours used to be good! I found in my mouth a very long hair in my food! And it wasn't mine. The restaurant is looking dingy unkempt, not being maintained properly, the bathroom is old and gross. The restaurant smells weird. Like chemicals or mold. Is this new owners? Or the same owners just getting lazy. This makes me never want to come back. So many other restaurants actually maintain and look like they care! I used to love coming here. We have had great food every time we have visited (more than 10 times during the past year). Service hasn't always been spectacular but when it's good, it's really good so that makes up for it. I always get the greek salad. I like how it's all chopped small. I love their design and logo/menus, very creative. I had to ask who does their design and they said KAZE MEDIA does it, I'm going to look into them for my next website & business card revamp. We also love the feta fries. I crave them. Would love a skinnier fry option, they use the med size steak fries but they are still delicious and crispy, not like some steak fries that are soggy. We love the desserts too, I think the desserts might come from Hellas and Hellas is another favorite of ours. They have seating inside (during busy times, there never seems to be enough seating so get there before the lunch rush) and they have outside seating. This is Florida, I don't think I've ever sat outside to eat a meal either because it was too hot, too muggy, too windy or mosquito-y.
