Met CHRISTINA WATSON (Loft 23) for the first time and this was literal THERAPY for me. I'm a curly-haired man in my early 30s who's just recently started experiencing the horrors of male pattern hair loss and losing the long, thick curls in the front has been so painful. I've been terrified of getting a cut and the result was a head of hair that desperately needed a one.

As SOON as I walked into the salon, Chris was there to greet me incredibly warmly and I felt immediately at ease. I told her my story and concerns and hopes and everything and she gave me tons of great advice and kind words and just really made me feel like things were going to be OK, which I really needed to hear. I cannot stress how above and beyond she went - I've never had a hair stylist that felt like she cared so very much, I really appreciated it.

The cut felt great, she has experience working with curly hair, and I could tell. My scalp and hair felt SO good, the entire experience was therapeutic both emotionally and physically. She understood the importance of how to shape the hair to fit the shape of the head and the result was a cut that made me feel SO much lighter without losing the volume that I'm trying to hold onto. I feel like I look younger too!!! Which was a very nice surprise, haha. Also, she even gave me a bottle of styling product for free!!! Such kindness and generosity.

She is such a sweetheart and the kindest person, legitimately the best haircut experience I've ever had. I'm looking forward to continuing my hair journey and figuring out exactly how I want my hair to look until I find something I'm perfectly happy with; I trust Chris to help me get to that point, and I have confidence she can help you do...

Michael Giorgianni is by far the BEST hair stylist I've ever met in my entire life. He is so kind, attentive, and hilarious. I just bring some inspiration photos to him and let him go nuts- I trust him that much. I seriously don't go to anyone else now. He keeps my hair healthy and is an absolute miracle worker. I always walk out feeling gorgeous.

If you're seeing negative reviews, realize that all of these hair stylists rent out spaces here. All of these vague negative reviews make no sense to me. One bad experience doesn't speak to the rest of the stylists working here. I believe everyone working there is independent. I would never walk into this place out of the blue and expect someone to immediately start working on me without having to wait or feel like my appointment is being rushed. These people pay a lot of money to be able to set up shop here. Sure, someone may be able to take you without an appointment, but you have to realize that they may have clients booked after you. For best results, make an appointment, show up a little early, check in, and know what you want before you walk...

Avoid stylist Courtney Grudis. Extremely unprofessional, rude and charges an astronomical amount. Had been going to her for a while, last appointment had highlights and cut. Was charged OVER $600 and found pieces of fried hair and missing hair! Wasn’t gonna make a big deal just wasn’t gonna go back. Had talked about it with a couple friends who go to her as well and I guess they must of said something because she sent me this scathing text message pictured at 10pm at night. Extremely disappointed with the unprofessionalism and the fact that there was no etiquette at all to even know or rectify the issue. So unless you wanna spend an arm and leg for fried hair and deal with passive aggressive childish behavior i recommend...
