"DON'T ACT LIKE YOU'RE NOT IMPRESSED" That's a pretty bold statement to have printed on the wall of this business. Was I impressed? Let's find out.. Today was the third time this month I walked into this pizzeria. This location has 14 chairs and 5 tables. I noticed the tables are rectangle shaped and red, reminiscent of their deep dish Detroit Style pizza topped with tomato sauce. The parking lot, tables, floors, and bathroom were clean upon each visit. I notice these things because I've worked in restaurants for many years. If the secondary areas such as parking lots and bathrooms are clean, that leads me to believe the most essential area, the kitchen is well maintained & clean. Let's start talking aboutg7 the food. I had sweet red chili wings topped with turbo. The flavor was excellent, with the correct sweet to spicy ratio. Most importantly, IMO, is that the wings were crispy!!! I love the store made, fresh daily RANCH DRESSING, it's perfect for dipping just about anything...except for my Diet Coke. 🥳 (Another good choice, Coke products, not Pepsi) The JETS BREAD was good and the couple CINNAMON STIX I shared left me wanting MMMOOORRREE! When it comes to the soda, I was impressed how COLD 🥶 it was! Another detail not missed by this location. The drinks MUST BE COLD, otherwise, how will they be a proper temperature upon pick-up or delivery?? Jet's is known for the offering of a DETROIT STYLE pan pizza. In all the years I've lived in the area I never realized Jet's also had NY STYLE, HAND-TOSSED ROUND, SEASONED CAULIFLOWER, THIN & GLUTEN-FREE PIZZA options. 🍕 Considering I'm a foodie and I love my pizza, this sets me on a MISSION to try every style! Why not? We are all gonna buy pizza throughout the year, right?? So let's have some fun and see how Eugene Jetts passion for pizza has grown. In preparation for my up and coming dining visit I called to confirm the BOLD CUPPED PEPPERONI means it's a spicier option, CORN OIL is the oil used to coat the pizza pans, and this location does not carry Halal options. (as of March 2025) I also stopped into this location to grab a menu and get help finding detailed nutrition information for the SEASONED CAULIFLOWER. I wasn't able to find it online and the man at the register assisted me in locating it on the website. (The cauliflower pizza has 14 net carbs per slice, approximately one third of the standard slices, great for all the diabetics & carb counters out there like me. I can't wait to try it !) Every interaction I had with an employee was positive. They all seemed to get along with one another. All were friendly respectful, helpful, and eager to assist my concerns. 😊 I ordered a thin crust pie with half extra cheese & half sausage. One of my #1 FAVORITE things about jet pizza is the way the cheese falls off of the crust and winds up crispy on the edges. Look closely and DROOL at the video & pic I posted of my most recent meal. I got the TURBO crust, which is a flavor of BUTTER, GARLIC & ROMANO cheese. What a FANTASTIC combination! With all that said, the most IMPRESSIVE part of my pie, besides the crispy cheese edges was the SAUSAGE topping. Most time at other pizzerias, when I get sausage that is crumble style vs sliced, it tastes like filler without much actual meat, like corners are cut to save money and I am almost always disappointed. So I was skeptical at first, but after a conversation with Bill the GM, I decided to try it, and I was once again IMPRESSED. I could taste the meat and it had REAL flavor. I will acknowledge that they honor the statement hanging on the wall by Eugene theFounder "Everything that goes into our jet's pizza is the highest quality available" I had a nice, down to earth conversation with Bill about PIZZA STYLES and could feel his passion for Jets Pizza and the industry. Jets, being a Pizza chain with over 425 locations, I would have expected a more cold and cooperate feel during my visit, but this place is run like a single owner in charge. Jets hires delivery drivers, they don't...
Read moreJet’s Pizza has always delivered when it comes to flavor—no question. But what made my recent visit unforgettable wasn’t just the delicious deep dish or that legendary turbo crust. It was Billi, the absolute MVP of customer service. Honestly, if every place had a Billi, the world would be a much friendlier, happier place.
From the minute I walked in, she made the entire vibe feel different—in the best way possible. You know how sometimes you walk into a spot and no one really notices you? Not here. Billi greeted me like I was a regular, even though it was my first time at that location. She was welcoming without being overbearing, upbeat without being fake, and completely on top of everything. That kind of energy is rare, especially in a fast-paced food setting.
I came in thinking I’d grab a quick bite and go, but I found myself actually enjoying the ordering process—something I didn’t expect. Billi didn’t just take my order; she made sure I got exactly what I wanted and even threw in a few recommendations that turned out to be spot-on. I went with the deep dish, pepperoni with turbo crust (her suggestion), and it was perfect. The crust had that buttery, crispy edge Jet’s is known for, and the cheese pull? Unreal. Every bite had that right balance of flavor, texture, and seasoning. I even grabbed one of their ranch dips—which Billi swore by—and now I get the hype.
But great food aside, what stood out most was how she treated everyone. Whether someone was walking in for the first time or clearly a regular, Billi treated them like they mattered. She remembered names, joked around with customers while keeping the line moving, and stayed calm and collected even as things started getting busy. There’s a rhythm to what she does, and she does it with ease.
It’s clear she takes pride in her work, but more than that, she makes people feel like their experience matters. That’s the kind of service you don’t forget. I overheard someone saying they drive past other pizza places just to come here because “Billi makes it worth it”—and honestly, I get it.
Even the little things didn’t go unnoticed. She double-checked my order, made sure I had napkins and plates for takeout, and wished me a great night with a genuine smile. Those details might seem small, but when someone pays attention to them, it makes you feel like your visit wasn’t just another transaction.
The store itself was clean, well-organized, and had a good atmosphere. You could tell the team worked well together, but Billi was the one setting the tone. Leadership, energy, kindness—it all started with her.
So yeah, the food at Jet’s was excellent (no surprise there), but Billi is the reason I’ll be coming back again and again. She turned a quick pizza run into a genuinely great experience, and that deserves recognition. Jet’s is lucky to have her—and so are the customers who walk through those doors.
Final verdict? 5 stars, no hesitation. Billi is the real deal. If you’re thinking about getting Jet’s, do it—and hope Billi’s on shift. You...
Read moreJet's Pizza Oakland Park review. So, I used the phone bot for the Pompano Jet's Pizza, and somehow either clicked the wrong phone number to call in or the bot screwed up. Either way, I ended up picking up my food at the Oakland Park location. Really that was my own choice. When the bot texted that my food was ordered at the OP store, I called there to cancel and learned from the very gracious young lady who answered that my pizza was made already. She was willing, even expected me to cancel the order, but the mistake was not the fault of that location so I didn't think they should take the hit. So I went there to pick it up. All that said, I won't order by bot anymore, and I will add my nearby location to my phone to be sure I'm getting it from the place closest to me. We ordered an 8-corner Aloha BBQ Chicken pizza, and it was delicious! I can't say enough about Jet's Pizza. They are the best in our book. Now I will say this. If Pompano and Oakland Park are equidistant for you, please default to the OP location. Their customer service is top notch. The manager was very kind when I spoke to him about what happened, and offered helpful suggestions to avoid a repeat. Also I never have to wait in the OP location, while I've waited more than 5 min at the Pompano location for someone to just show up at the counter. And the food may actually taste better at the OP locale as well. Hard to say since this was our first Aloha pizza, but it stands to reason. Here's my theory. Truly good customer service comes from the heart and is practiced inwardly as well as outwardly, which means the staff would be good to each other as well as to customers. Maybe in that kind of environment more love goes into the prep and service...
