I've been to half a dozen Keke's cafes around central Florida thus far, and just got back from breakfast at this one in Davenport, FL.
The chain is average at best -- I don't know if that's because of the low standard cafes in Florida hold themselves to or because eating out in Florida is mostly a lost cause.
Cafe is surely a misnomer -- drip coffee with UHF milk is airplane food at best. At best they're an overpriced diner.
In effect, you get pancakes/waffles, omelets and sandwiches/wraps with $4 drip coffee and UHF milk pods.
Your meat options are supermarket ham, bacon, sausage, turkey/turkey bacon/turkey sausage and chicken breast.
Veggie choices are tomatoes, spinach, onions, capsicum/green bell-peppers/red bell-peppers, mushrooms and jalapenos.
They serve fruit -- but then, I'm not sure that's novel or outstanding in any way.
Watch out for 'kettle chips' -- these are just Walmart crisps out of a bag ...most likely Kettle brand potato chips.
It's all average in quality and I wonder why they're proud of hand-cracked. Had me in splits!
The staff are nice -- there just aren't enough of them. There're usually too few waiters/waitresses and service is well intentioned but so-so because they're stretched out thin.
If I'm spending $50 on breakfast I'd like it to be something more like what you'd get at a Denny's.
Keke's is certainly not America's top breakfast place -- at best it is a roadside food stand cloaked as a cafe ...I've been to diners that...

I canât say enough great things about Diana at Kekeyâs Breakfast Restaurant! From the moment we walked in, she greeted us with a warm, genuine smile and an energy that made us feel welcome immediately. She was incredibly attentive without being overbearing, ensuring our drinks were always topped off and checking in at just the right moments.
Dianaâs knowledge of the menu was outstandingâshe gave excellent recommendations and even customized a few options to fit our preferences. Our food arrived quickly, perfectly prepared, and exactly as we ordered, which shows how well she communicates with the kitchen.
What really stood out was her attention to detail and ability to anticipate our needs before we even had to ask. She noticed when we needed extra napkins, brought refills without hesitation, and even engaged with us in a friendly and professional manner that made the entire experience feel personal and enjoyable.
Itâs rare to find someone who truly goes above and beyond, but Diana does just that. Her passion for great service shines through in everything she does, and she made our breakfast experience one of the best weâve had in a long time. If you visit Keke, do yourself a favor and ask for Dianaâyou wonât be disappointed!
Thank you, Diana, for making our visit so wonderful! Weâll definitely be back and recommending you to...

We were seated immediateiy, however, it took several minutes before anyone came over to take our drink order. Then several more minutes for him to come back to take our food order. It seemed the wait staff and kitchen staff were too busy either goofing off or screaming profanities at each other (clearly heard in the dining room).
Our waiter said the kitchen was backed up because of a couple of large groups. OK, no problem. Although, we saw those groups get parts of their order while other tables got theirs. Not one table got all of their orders in one go.
We waited for nearly an hour...for an eggs and sausage order. All the while watching the closest group still hadn't received their full order and another table sent their order back citing cold or undercooked food.
I grabbed the nearest waiter and said to cancel our order and to bring the bill for the iced tea and 2 coffees. He told our waiter who was noticeably frustrated and his reaction indicated thar this is typical behavior from patrons. We were told we didn't have to pay for the drinks and were offered to have our food to-go. We declined and left.
Unless you have all day to wait for your food, steer clear of this place and literally go anywhere else. I suggest the Davenport...
