I was extremely disappointed with my recent visit to this restaurant, expecting a family-friendly atmosphere but encountering the complete opposite. Upon entering with my children, I was met with loud, inappropriate conversations filled with foul language—shockingly coming from the general manager, Ellie, and her staff.
When I requested to speak to the manager, I was surprised to learn that Ellie herself held this position. Her demeanor and response to my concerns were anything but professional. Instead of acknowledging that such conversations are unacceptable in a family establishment, she responded with eye rolls and a dismissive attitude, even telling me I could leave if I didn’t like it.
This level of unprofessionalism reflects poorly on the business. A manager should lead by example, fostering a respectful work environment and prioritizing customer service. Instead, the store appears to be in chaos, which may explain its high turnover and frequent order mistakes. While errors happen, they are far more forgivable when staff are being guided by competent leadership, which is clearly lacking here.
The best experience I had at this location was when an older gentleman was in charge—he maintained professionalism, ensured orders were correct, and upheld a welcoming atmosphere. Sadly, with his absence, the store has gone downhill. In contrast, other locations, like those in LaBelle and on 41 in Fort Myers, maintain much higher standards and a true family-friendly environment.
If the owner cares about the future of this business, they should seriously reconsider the leadership here. A general manager should possess maturity, professionalism, and the ability to handle customer concerns with respect. Unfortunately, that is not the case at this location. Until changes are made, I will take my...
Read moreSo I’m a newbie to Culver’s. I ended up trying the crispy chicken sandwich, fries, and cheese curds. I’m told I should’ve gotten one of the custard but that didn’t happen. Sorry. I’ll do better next time. Anyway, I was impressed with how they did the ordering in the delivery. Apparently everything is cooked to order so I placed my order at the drive-through and then went to the window to pay. At that point, they gave me a sticky number for my side mirror and had me pull forward to wait. Don’t think I was there for even 10 minutes, but the food came out fresh and hot. I did get cheese sauce for the fries and even that was hot and melted. That’s the first time I’ve ever experienced that with a fast food restaurant. It usually comes out cooled off and somewhat coagulated. I thought the food was great. The cheese curds were a little salty, but still delicious. I like the crinkle cut fries and they were really tasty with the cheese sauce. Chicken sandwich.- the chicken was hot juicy and crispy. The bun was fresh and the lettuce and tomato were cold and crisp. I don’t often eat fast food but I have tried Wendy’s, Burger King, McDonald’s, etc. Culver’s beats them hands down. So if you find yourself stuck with only fast food options would highly recommend Culver’s. Gave atmosphere of three just because it’s a fast food restaurant how much atmosphere are you gonna get? Also I didn’t go inside so take it with a...
Read more#1 Yesterday, around 4:30pm: Taking my order seemed to be a "chore" for the girl at the register while dining in and she seemed very unhappy, rude, and short with us. #2. They didn't give us any straws or lids for our drinks as there were none at the soda fountain. #3. NO ketchup inside the pumps, at this point I was irritated. #4. They forgot to give us ranch for our kids tender meals which we selected at the register after she asked us what dipping sauces we wanted. #5. They were completely out of chili for my chili cheese fries and only offered only cheese ontop as a substitute for the same price, fries were COLD and STALE. #6. My sourdough melt had NO cheese even after I requested cheese and onions when she asked, and was mostly bread, patty was thin, dry, and overcooked. #7. Workers behind the counter were gossiping and complaining about customer experiences during the entire time we were eating inside and it made our kids feel uncomfortable.
I used to love Culver's, now ill be headed to steak and shake from now on, they have much better customer care, food, and overall much...
