Outstanding Service at LongHorn – A Heartfelt Thank You to Autumn
I’d like to take a moment to sincerely commend one of your servers, Autumn, for providing my family and me with an exceptional dining experience at LongHorn Steakhouse. We frequently visit LongHorn, often twice or more a month, for full family gatherings, and while we’ve come to expect great food, today the service truly stood out.
Autumn demonstrated outstanding attention to detail and went above and beyond to make our meal special. One personal dining preference of mine is to have the parmesan crust served separately from my steak so I can enjoy it with the bread. In the past, this request has often been misunderstood — the parmesan ends up on the steak, leading to delays as I politely ask for it to be corrected. Usually, I end up eating after everyone else.
But not this time.
Autumn got it exactly right the first time. She listened, confirmed the order carefully, and ensured it was prepared exactly as I asked. It might sound like a small thing, but for me, it meant being able to enjoy my meal with my family, and that made all the difference.
In addition, even though the kitchen was running behind (as is understandable on busy days), Autumn’s attentiveness never wavered. She kept our drinks refilled, checked on us regularly, and most impressively acknowledged the wait without us even needing to mention it. She proactively spoke with a supervisor to ensure we received a goodwill gesture for our patience, which was completely unexpected and deeply appreciated.
Autumn embodies everything that makes great service memorable: professionalism, empathy, proactive care, and a personal touch. Thanks to her, what could have been an ordinary dinner turned into a wonderful and seamless experience for our entire family.
Please extend our deepest thanks to Autumn. She is a true asset to your team, and we will certainly be asking for her by name in future visits.

Read moreWe have had great experiences with Longhorn in Tampa. Unfortunately never a good experience at Longhorn in Brooksville. This is the second attempt at this place and wow what a disappointment. We called ahead for twelve people, arrived and waiting quite a while. This was understandable they were busy. It was all downhill from there. We ordered our food and it was over an hour and 40 minutes before it was bought. We asked what was going on and were told first the kitchen was backed up, the second waitress said there was another big party and their order was in before ours so that was what was taking so long, finally the manager came out and said ' I don't know what is going on in the kitchen but there is no excuse for it". He took 10 percent off our bill because of the excessive amount of time, and it looked like that was going on all over the restaurant. Everyone seemed frustrated due to the time it took to get their food. Then it got worse my wife ordered a ribeye cooked medium and it was so dry and overcooked she could not eat it. This is a steak house and they could not properly cook a steak. By then it was so late we just had it removed and she just ate her potato. The older of our two waitresses began getting short with us. We asked for boxes and were given tiny little boxes and ended up having to get multiple and cram our food into them. Other tables around us were given full meal sized boxes, it almost felt purposeful at this point. We had to ask multiple times for bags for our food. There was nothing really good to say about he experience except it is over. If you are wanting a good properly cooked steak I would advise choosing Outback on 19, their management is wonderful and it shows in their food and service. I would strongly recommend passing up this particular Longhorn. I am very sorry to have to make this review, but for some who has worked most of their life in customer service, you really need a lot of...
Read moreWe typically go here for our weekly date nights and have always had great service but recently this restaurant has gone downhill, the food is still good but the service is terrible from start to finish. We went here recently on a Tuesday night and the hostess, a "certified trainer" never even formally greeted us when we came in or even made eye contact, it was like we annoyed her just for coming in at 7pm (not closing time) and she promptly seated us right next to the walkway to get into the bar when the rest of the tables were still mostly open, we asked to move and they switched us to the table right next to the kitchen so we were already annoyed that we couldn't sit at one of the many open tables where we could actually have an enjoyable conversation. Then we waited over 20 minutes just for water and drinks, then when we finally ordered our food I asked the server "How do you recommend I have the cook prepare my meat?" The reason I ask this is the server knows the cook better than I do, I don't know if this cook really does rare, medium, and well or if you ask for medium and you get rare because this cook is impatient. But she responded to me with a snarky "That's a personal preference, I don't know how you like your meat" Then the food took another a while to get to the table and then my medium steak was cooked rare, exactly why I asked. Then we actually had to flag her down and ask for our bill because she just kept running by our table to get into the kitchen. Our typical 1 hour long dinner took over 2 hours and we missed our movie so until Longhorn management can get this place under control and give customers better treatment, we won't be...
