Tijuana Flats — Restaurant in Florida

Went in to have a nice meal with my family, but I left vowing to never return again. When we arrived there, there was just one family in front of us and about 2 families waiting for their order sitting at their tables. We placed our orders, sat at a table, and waited for our food. When the food arrived, my order was wrong, so I took it back and let the girl behind the counter know. She was friendly and apologetic and told me that she'd make it right. The place was not busy at all, so I thought great, I should have my meal in no time. However, 35!!!! minutes later, my one burrito was not even close to being done. That's all I ordered. I was not offered anything for my troubles, and all I heard from the cashier was sorry, I'll get right on it. Except she didn't. I waited an additional 15 minutes for ONE BURRITO! Mind you, they were not busy at all!!! Friday, December 30th, at around 6:15 pm. I asked for it "to-go" at that point, I left a bit upset, and when I got home, the order was wrong... again!!! Not once did I make a scene or yell at the staff or demand to see a manager who was clearly aware of the situation. My solution to this will be never to return to this particular Tijuana Flats. I'm not saying that this might happen to you, but beware that customer service at this location is...

Food was good with larger portions when we first started going, however new management has reduced size and they will argue over beans and rice being on the side opposed to inside burritos. The customer service was some of the best I have ever had until recently. The last 4 visits it is getting worse and worse. I dont know why they changed. Used to leave tips but they don't even come to check on refills. It was kind of trendy and was good from some Texans who finally found some decent texmex food. However they have now erased the chalk board and changed to boring menus. It's a shame their service and reduction in portions is going to ruin them. The only complaint I had ORIGINALLY was seating is super tight and it was smaller. They have taco Tuesday's and burritos specials on Thursday. * update management has changed and everything we loved about this place is gone, changed my review to reflect...* when you argue with a kid and say "your manager says no" to getting beans on the side they must be cutting costs nickel and diming over a quarter worth of beans! Service has gone way down hill. Especially when many people in same group didnt even take the beans or...

I was pleasantly surprised that one of the employees opened the doors and welcomed us to the store! Nice touch👏👏 I will say the food was good with large portions. Unfortunately, the young woman who handled our pick-up order was not as friendly as the greeter. Perhaps she was supposed to take care of us within a time limit, but still we felt very rushed and a 'here you are; out the door" attitude.🙄 Although the phone order had been supposedly checked before pick-up, when we arrived home (20min away) 2 orders of refried beans, rice, and utensils were missing.😖 My daughter called and was transferred to a manager who quickly assured her that at the next visit, we would receive the 2 orders that were left out "free of charge"! LOL! I should hope they would be given "free of charge" since they were already paid for!!!(pardon me, DUH!) Nothing was said about how the employees are supposed to know not to charge. I feel this solution presents a problem to both my daughter's family AND to the young employees...no...
