Look, I've got a lot of love for this McDonald's location near my neighborhood, it's always clean, busy and the staff is always courteous and genuinely seems happy to be at work. They go out if their way to make customers happy with their visit. However, I've ordered food from this Oviedo McDonald's at least 4 dozen separate times, and about 5 outta every 10 times we ordered our "special orders" were either made wrong, were missing items or were cold. BUT, everytime I choose to call them out on the issue they've always rectified it with food replacement or coupons for free items to be used on another visit ( I kept my receipts). These actions were appreciated but sometimes replacing our food or offering free isn't enough, sometimes... many times it's a health hazard. The problem with food being made wrong is this: I order food made "special" for reasons as I have a very picky special needs child with texture + taste sensitivities and dangerous food allergies, and the remaining household members have allergies; so it's imperative that our food is made to order correctly. When I order a burger with NO ketchup & my son bites into that burger with ketchup on it and he has a severe allergic reaction then I have an issue with that. When I order a McChicken sandwich with NO lettuce and my son has a total meltdown because he felt and tasted the lettuce on that sandwich then I have an issue with that. Everytime I order food at this and now other McDonald's restaurants I now have to check each item for accuracy before handing it off to my unsuspecting family members. My family has spent thousands & thousands of dollars on dining with the McDonald's corporation in the...
Read more7/31/18 Tuesday around 1:30 pm i just left this MacDonald's location today being in the area, visiting a hair salon 5 mins away, i came in today with my son we ordered, a big mac meal and a happy meal. The employees were busy taking orders to tables not to mention how pleasant they sounded to other customers, however i was stepped in front of frequently without one, excuse me. perhaps i was in the way, though this was unintentional by me, by me simply standing in line; now im up to the counter with one of the same employees that was frequently stepping in front of me . She took my order.she is a heavy set employee who was either, Caucasian, or Spanish, she had dark hair, the ordering process was normal, until she recommended my order was a take out.. her exact words was." you are taking it togo right"? which is a assumption rather than a question.... i said yea. because i usually like to have bags instead of trays just in case i have leftovers(mind you we came in to dine in). i cash out sightly offended with how uncomfortable it became, but i try to brush it off perhaps i was over reacting.. my order comes up order #229 the same women who took my order brought my food, i was the only person to say thank you.. so i ask for ketchup.. she turns around and ignores me. so i say it louder she ignores me again.. another employee asks her if she was gonna get the ketchup, she ignores the employee and brings me the ketchup still no responses.. that was the body language of I dont want you here. which is fine..... completely fine. i will tell other's about this and i will not eat at McDonald's again....
Read moreFirst, this single star is because the level of service we received this evening was absolutely horrible! Stop messing around and cutting up and pay attention to the customer. And we were in the drive-thru ... so if it was that obvious from there, how must the guests inside have felt? Now, when someone places an order, let them SPEAK! Don't interrupt just to upsell! And for goodness sakes, FIX the POS System (point of sale) in the drive-thru to accept ApplePay PROPERLY! Don't feed the customer some song and dance about the new chips in cards and having to have the card to pay with ApplePay. It's not true and every other McDonalds we've been too has NO issue taking ApplePay at the drive-thru! It's MORE secure than the chip and we don't carry our cards with us. Thank goodness we had cash with us. Next, when someone moves the the final window to pick up their food, be POLITE. Don't be cutting up with your co-workers and then turn, open the window with an attitude and shove the soda out at me and tell me in an utterly inconvenienced tone "the rest will be out in second" and the shirk the window shut. Also, why is it that the fries are ALWAYS either stone cold or over cooked/stale tasting? Living in Tuskawilla, this McDonalds is closest however, we will be making to drive to the one in Winter Springs at Tuskawilla Road and 434. Their service is ALWAYS courteous, prompt, their ApplePay WORKS, and their fries are always HOT (like they're...
