They deserve a star for the fresh food (which comes along with waiting times, however) and for their friendly staff. But still, I wouldn‘t recommend the place.
Went there and ordered food through the self-service terminal. The terminal looks good and also shows an image of the food to be expected, so we ordered a chicken salad. Unfortunately, the salad we were served didn‘t match the salad shown before on screen. I was there with a friend who is allergic to dairy products and the salad contained cheese (and unfortunately quite a lot of it so he couldn‘t just pick it out...). That was not shown/mentioned anywhere before, otherwise we would have ordered something different.
I talked to the staff to get another salad and explained about the wrong picture shown and the allergy. They said they were sorry, but still made me pay for the „new“ order. And eventually, instead of a salad, they served us a BURGER... Come on, guys!!!
I wouldn’t even complain if the restaurant had been cramped, but there were hardly any customers inside, so you might expect that they remember what happened two minutes ago. This is just incredible and probably my worst experience in any restaurant so far.
In the end, we just took the burger and didn’t try AGAIN to actually get what we initially wanted: the chicken salad as shown in the self-service terminal. As I said, the staff is friendly, but they have no idea how to treat customers. Will definitely not go...
Read moreWe decided to try Nathan’s on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. It wasn’t too busy when we ordered but we did have some issues being able to pay by a debit card. It turned out the restaurant along with other locations were having internet issues. After waiting for maybe 2 minutes, I asked the cashier if I could just remove my card and pay by cash. After maybe a minute, he said “yes” and he had a bit of difficulty counting my change back, but he was very polite. We received our food after about 15 minutes of waiting. They called our name and met us half way to the counter to grab the order. They forgot our drinks but brought them to us after we said something. The New York Cheesesteak was pretty good and a nice portion size. The hamburger my son had, he really enjoyed that as my daughter did with her simple hotdog. The only disappointment with our meal was the Fish and Chips Platter my husband ordered. The coleslaw was a bit too vinegary for him and the fish is basically something that looks like it came from a frozen bag of fish triangles. Our total for 4 meals and a large Lemonade was around $53.00. Prices were a bit high but then again, the portion sizes were good. The staff was polite and the restaurant was clean. It’s a small eating area so it might feel a bit cramped when it starts getting busy, as it did after we ordered. I would return again...
Read moreUpon entering the restaurant, my mother who is disabled and in a wheelchair was being pushed in placed at a table as the cashier and server were laughing and pointing at her. When placing our order for our food we were told we we're only allowed to have one refill when it is not stated or posted anywhere in the restaurant but doing some research we found out that as long as you were in the building which we were because we were dining in, you're allowed to have unlimited refills. The hot dogs were cold. I overheard another customer complaining that their food was also cold. My 13-year-old daughter waited for about 10 minutes when there was no line to get a refill but was not acknowledged by the cashier or the server until I stood up and walked over even though I saw them look at her multiple times. (She is almost as tall as me and I am 5'8". Last but not least, Samuel v. Our cashier fat shamed a customer when they asked for a fork for their fries. He said oh you mean for a salad that you need and he said it multiple times and not to mention they don't offer salads on their menu . Very unacceptable. Very unprofessional and we will never return and do not recommend anyone to eat here until some big...
