New York Pizza And Wings — Restaurant in Florida

Ordered it off of the Slice App. I’m going to rate only the food because the delivery was late and I do not know who’s fault that was.

To be called “New York Pizza” is one thing that a lot of pizza shops do which is fine. Most of them have a unique “New York” style that are all pretty parallel generally speaking… but this place…this place is just in a different bracket. The best way to describe this pizza is as if you went to a Perkins on a late night and they were offering some strange pizza special.

This pizza kind of has the look of Papa John’s but has absolutely no flavor. Most people would say “oh man it’s still pizza though, I’m sure it’s good but not great” but I’m here to tell you that it’s not even good. Been around the sun 32 years and have had a ton of pizza from all around the world and this is by far bottom 3 pizzas I’ve ever had.

To New York Pizza And Wings: You have great leverage with how late you are staying open but just ask yourself…with such low ratings is this really a sustainable business? I mean just look at your reviews and listen to your people. Start from scratch, swallow your pride and at LEAST try making a new pie, reset expectations with your staff and serve a decent product. People who are eating late night aren’t asking for the best pizza in the world, they just want something good, and this my...

I gave the manager a chance to make it right but he refused. To start we had a restaurant.com gift certificate that he refused to take despite being listed on the site as a participating restaurant. Despite that still ordered the food for delivery (that should have been clue #1 to stay away). We ordered 2 specials and spend over $50. We were told it would be an hour. An hour came and went and the food was still not here. Another 45 minutes later food arrives. Delivery driver has another person in the car like they are just out for the night. Food was just sitting in the back seat, no warmer.. Forgot the drinks we ordered. Said she would be back in 15 min with them, never came back. Pizza was cold and tasteless. On a positive note the wings were decent. At this point it was 10pm so we just ate the food. Called the manager asking about the drinks and how he is going to make this right (late delivery, cold food, etc). He asked me what I wanted and I said half my money back and that I would drive there for it. Absolutely not he said, you consumed the pizza. Said he would send the driver back to refund our drinks. Driver never showed up. Manager did nothing to make this right. Total lack of customer service. This place should be shut down. DO NOT order from here, save yourself...

My sister just ordered from this establishment. After hearing the total we went online because the pricing didn’t seem correct. After doing the math compared to what we were told it was over $30 difference. After receiving the receipt the woman on the phone charged us for larger pies than we ordered. We ordered larges and saw we were charged we extra large. When asking the driver about the huge price difference, he said the prices online are old and not updated. That is ridiculous to not update your prices online. Pretty much charging people whatever you feel like it, bc they do not know what the real prices should be. Then they don’t tell you it’s a $7.99 delivery charge! That’s all before tipping the driver. I went from thinking I was going to pay around $55 to paying $87.30 before tipping the driver for two pizzas, calzone and 4 small bottles of coke. All said and done with tip about $100! Food was hardly any flavor and beyond greasy. Stay away from this place, unless you want to be ripped off for gross food. Even all the kids didn’t even like it. Basically threw out half of the food. What a waste of $100. Beware and ask for the real pricing if you want to take a chance on this rip off establishment. I suggest ordering somewhere or anywhere else...
