This place had incompetent, rude and unhelpful staff selling shaved ice as a slush drink where more than half the drink is not drinkable because itās overloaded with ice. I went to speak to the staff to ask them why there is no blend of slurp-able mixture and they rudely replied that this is how their slush is ā¦the photo will reflect the drink that is not consumable because itās filled with pure shaved ice in which the straw cannot draw any pressure upward to drink since itās pure ice with no syrup/water blended in. Thereās a dessert called baobing or bingsu or shaved ice like snow conesā¦.they serve these with a spoon because they are not drinkable. Well, here they serve it like that and call it slush - what idiots! They also confirmed that these $7 drink are made from tap water that isnāt filtered. This is the worst service and quality of slush drink I have experience in Orlando. After giving feed-back to the cashier boy that wasnāt very well-spoken, he didnāt care to listen for improvement. If they want to start a successful business, they should review their feedbacks from customers - especially from a a mother coming here with 3 children and all my kids were disappointed because they couldnāt drink their lychee slush. Even a child can take notice how wrong it is to sell a drink that cannot be consumed by a straw. Highly highly recommend to skip this unworthy place all together.
I also ordered the milk tea and itās very bland that itās insulting to call it milk tea. Same issue - they put so much ice that itās water-downed. A waste of $7. Itās obvious that the theme here is āICEāā¦.they want to load up everything with ice to sell you a drink that cost them pennies and charge customer $7-9 drinks. Thatās fantastic profit for them and water-down drink for customers.
The third item I ordered was two orders of the BBQ Pork Vietnamese sandwiches and these were 5/10. The pork was very oil and the taste was flavor-less. For the garnishes, they very likely use frozen garnishes (jalapeƱo, cucumber, cilantro, carrot, radish) all of which had no taste. I personally stay away from cilantro but I couldnāt detect this in the sandwich because thereās no cilantro flavor since itās frozen thawed garnishes. This place is a joke - definitely not a place to try Vietnamese food if youāre looking for quality. If you donāt mind drinking shaved ice and food thatās mediocre, then come waste your money here. But I definitely will never return. We came on Friday evening at 7pm and thereās no customers here - empty place. When thereās no presence of customers in any dinning on a Friday at 7pm - thatās pure indication how much customer retention there is. Thatās a reflection of how well this business is doingā¦Will see how long this business will last with such poor management...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFirst, you should know, being Vietnamese and a proud Houstonian where top notch pho & banh mi are plentiful, you know the expectations are going to be high high high!
Because we live in the Windermere/ Doc Phillips area, driving to Mills 50/ Downtown Orlando can be a big hassle in that i4 traffic so you KNOW I WAS STOKED when I saw that a Paris Banh Mi shop opened 15 minutes away from me.
My hubby and I went as soon as we had a chance to give it a try with pretty low expectations, but this place really surprised us!
It's franchised by a Vietnamese family so you know it's gotta be authentic. We're always greeted by Mrs. Mai, the owner. She gives me those auntie/ Vietnamese Mom vibes, which if you know Vietnamese people, they call everyone their children. š Her interaction truly brings me back home to Houston with a lot of nostalgia of Houston Chinatown and fam vibes.
Now on to the main dish, the Banh Mi. Growing up in Houston, I have eaten banh mis my whole life and we've been in search for some good Banh mi in Orlando. Of course there are a handful of banh mi options in Downtown Orlando, but my 100% go to was always Paris Banh Mi in Mills 50 on W Colonial Dr. And now I don't have to drive so far away for the same banh mis! This Banh Mi is made with a true Vietnamese French Style Baguette, which is KEY! My favorite one is the traditional cold cut "Special Combination" Banh Mi. My husband always gets the BBQ Pork Banh Mi. Both so good and exactly what we expect out of a great banh mi!
Other things we've had: Taro Slush with boba, Thai Tea with grass jelly, & Pho. We want to try other dishes in the future, but the drinks had a perfect balance of sweet. The boba is cooked to perfection with a good chew. And the pho was surprisingly delicious! You know my mom makes the best pho so I wasn't sure what to expect since it is a banh mi shop and not a pho shop, but we were both really surprised and loved the pho!
There is a lot on the menu and we're definitely curious to try other things on the menu, but for now, we will always stop into Paris Banh Mi for our quick Vietnamese Food fix at the Kissimmee location! Especially the Banh Mi and the Pho! 10/10...

Food: Pho - very flavorful with all of the expected aromatics in the broth. You'd definitely not need to add hoisin or Sriracha. Noodles and meat are average quantity. I will say that the meatballs tasted very dry and not fresh. You get all the expected veggies; bean sprouts, Thai basil, jalapenos and lime. Portion size is average and what you'd expect.
Banh Cuon Cha - terrible and hard pass. The noodles were NOT fresh and tasted very gritty and sandy, indicating it was either not fresh or previously frozen. This is probably the worst banh Cuon I've ever eaten in my life.
Banh Mi - delicious and highly recommended. This is the only item that they are known for. All other items are just a convenience if you're already there and wanting to eat it such as pho.
The banh mi/bread isn't very thick and full of dough, in a good way. Proteins are packed in each sandwich and the veggies and condiments are well paired with each sandwich.
Service: Very subpar and feels like a fast food chain as you order at the cash register and pickup your food when your number is called. They also charge you for using credit card for $0.50 EACH item that you order. The cash register woman who took our order was pretty rude. We ordered $50 worth of food for 2 and she tried to upsell us more items. When we declined and later decided we wanted to buy additional items to-go, she had a condescending tone and spoke to me in Vietnamese and told me "should've bought it then when I told you to. Now there's none. Sorry." Not very professional to blame the patron for your lack of inventory. That's just a missed opportunity on your part to earn more business.
Ambiance/Environment: Dine in area is average and not unkept but also not clean either. It should be expected since the restaurant is more of a self-serve atmosphere.
Pricing: I would say that the pricing is a bit above average and especially if you consider paying extra with using a...
